I'm hoping to put my Dandelion on a Dollstown elf body. I just need to sell a few things to summon up the funds lol (see you on the island )
I'm thinking of the same body too...good luck with your sales! But thank goodness for layaway... I'm still trying to resist nabbing another doll because of the 30% sale. I'll just oggle in silence if I'm being honest with myself. edit: I caved and nabbed another Dandelion. I have always wanted a set of twin dolls. I think the sculpt will be perfect for it. By the way can anyone tell me what the neck size of her body is?
My girls are shipping! Wow...the rumors of fast shipping are true!!! The twins should be here by Saturday. I'm so not ready for them...I need eyes, wigs...arghhh.
Haha...they will. Plus they're going to have to wait a while for their bodies and face ups. I have a very strong urge to make one a boy...but finding the right 50 something body is a challenge. I'm just not sure about neck size. I know she'll fit on the DT elf body but not sure at what neck size will fit without modding. I guess once I get them. Can't wait to get home and shop for them. Today's gonna be a long day at work. Lol

Congrats! @Blablette You have her dressed adorably already. What eyes are you using by the way? Do you have your concept for painting her yet? I also got my twins also last week. I am so excited! Before shipping them off for painting, I got a chance to experiment with their heads on a larger body. I was surprised they fit my DT15yr boy body which opens up more options. I was set to put them on the Elf but now...I can use the bigger DT bodies or Granada's Maiden...we'll see. Sorry for the OT ramble. Does anyone else have more Dandelion spam in the meantime...
Thank you, @mdonline03 ^_^ I've put 10mm MehiArt eyes (she's on etsy) in her eyes. I had ordered acrylics for her, too, but these fit even better with her pink-space style! I have a vague concept for her, usually my concepts develop while I'm painting the doll! ;-) How does your hybridising work? I've noticed on flickr some people putting Dandelion on SD sized bodies and the proportions being really good. For my part, I'll keep her on the Bimong body, I love it, and her big hands, too!
@Blablette ah yes, I've seen MehiArt eyes. I think they're super pretty. I really like how they stand out in your Dandelion. I'm going to have to check them out again. I'll be excited to see the full concept for your girl. The styling is already fun! I also love the little Bimong body and those hands are so expressive...(I wasn't expecting to love it as much because I'm a big dolly person). As for the hybrid, I think I'm going with the DT 13yr girl. I want the girls to be a bit older. Here's a pic of my Dandelions when I was fiddling - one on the Bimong body & the other on the DT boy body.
I have just bought a Dandelion on the secondary market and am excitedly awaiting her arrival. I want to change her face up when she arrives, but have long been yearning for her. I especially love this sculpt with a more natural face up.

Oh goodie! More Dandelions. My girls are coming home from the spa. I can't wait. I need to settle their body situation soon though. Dollstown is having another sale and now is the time if I plan on putting them on a bigger body. I do love their original body though...so been poking around looking at other heads that might work. Hummmm
Thank you Blabette. Dandelion has been my grail girl really since 2013. I couldn't believe it when i happened to think about her by chance and checked the marketplace, only to see an EU sale! My patience has been rewarded I will look forward to seeing your two dandelions mdonline03 once they have relaxed at the spa.
Ta-daaah! My Dandelion has a faceup (but still no name, haha!) I was inspired by an incoming Larina head that has a very unusual (and beautiful faceup) that I fell in love with, so she and Dandelion will be besties... The Larina has a multitude of dots, so Dandelion has small squares... Gosh, she was a pleasure to faceup, I wish I had a second one to paint, hahah!!! Dandelion by blablette1, sur Flickr

Yay! I will post a photo of her over the weekend. It is not msc spraying conditions over here in the U.K at the moment, so her face-up will have to wait for a fine and non windy day but i love her

Looking forward to another new face. I was also able to pick up my twins from the post today. I'm so pleased with how they turned out. Until I figure out what I'm doing with their original bodies; I'm afraid these gorgeous girls are going to live in their boxes for a bit. I don't have clothes for them and don't really want to mess about with them if I decide they'll be bigger girls. I just wish there were more mature clothing options for the size - but I'll keep looking. Anywho - here's a quick shot of the twin that is Lulu. Poor girls have no clothes...
mdonline03 thank you for your welcome. Your Lulu photo is really striking. I love her sultry look - you have managed to take a really captivating photo. I am really looking forward to seeing your twins. Here is my Makiko. I have removed the factory eyeliner and lip gloss for a more natural look but she will have a completely new face up when the weather permits. She is such a beautiful sculpt!
