I keep thinking that I should sell one of the Dandelions but after sorting thru clothes I have for them...can't bring myself to sell any of them. I hope Bimong does sell Dandelion heads in April. I like the head I have on the body but would be nice to have the Dandelion head too. Here is my Dandelion body with AOD head.
what kind of eyes have you guys found for your dandelions? I've 12s and 10s, and the 10s are better, but i think she still needs a smaller iris and a flatter, wider white. There's so many eye makers out there these days, there's bound to be something, right? @jo1961 your hybrid girl is so cute!

Everyone has such beautiful Dandelions!!! @Lirin I use 12mm Small iris, Low-dome eyes for my Dandelion from Doll Bakery~ I have to get around to taking photos of that as well as the Dandelion head on the Dollstown Elf body!
thanks for the tips on eyes I've been wanting some doll bakery eyes but they never seem to be available. looking at small iris glass eyes for now. I finished Yarrow's new faceup, and I'm fairly happy with it, but regret losing the old one :/ I haven't gotten any good pics of her yet because it's been raining solidly for days now, and i don't have room to set up the 'studio' atm. Stunning. The lips are beautifully translucent and a perfect hue. I love the texture of the French resin. It looks more like skin.
@Lirin Your new face-up is lovely - gives her a very gentle look. And your doll has not yellowed as much as mine - but still love this first doll as she is more child like. I ordered a head from Poland for my normal body (as Bimong has not listed heads for sale as he promised me and I really do not know what his new normal color is? anyway) but this head came with a lovely face-up BUT it is what I would call normal/yellow. My body is normal pink and the difference really shows up in photos. I am a bit discouraged by bimong's lack of a regular time table so will probably sell off my one head and body separately. Makes me sad as I liked the other head (AOD NUX) I found that worked with the body too. I tried the new head on some of my other adult bodies but as they are 58cm & up...looked awful. Completely out of scale. I think bimong is making the new head to work with his 58cm body. My three Dandelions The first Dandelion introduced thru Dollfair just looks younger to me. She is my favorite and is like Lirin's.
I just made my dandelion girl her own alpaca wig, and realized again that her body is just a bit awkward in proportion with her head/her face is more 12 year old with a body that's like a 6 year old. I tried her on the elf body again, and it's still wrong for her. But then I tried her on my Seola's dt 7 Year body, and it was incredible. For the first time her head is actually in proportion. The color is a mismatch of course, Old Narindoll Oriental French is different than 2012 Dollstown Oriental. The body's hands are blushed, though and with clothes and the right light, it's not super noticeable for the time being. Does anyone in this thread have Dollshecraft Honey Peach Fresh? I feel like that might be in the right neighborhood. Yarrow absolutely needs her own 7year body *____* (although I would never sell her original, but it would be great to be able to go back and forth.... it turned out that the Dollstown head looked big but extremely cute on the Dandelion body, too, so there's lots of possibilities!) I have a Lethe head, and it's another oddball proportion head. it would probably look great on the 2nd Dandelion body, shame he doesn't sell those anymore! ;__; and thanks! I wonder if anyone here can tell me the neck circumference of the Dandelion body? Your Dandelion is too cute to be without a body! I just measured and come up with roughly 8cm, give or a take a mm or so. Hope this helps.

I have a floating Dandelion head waiting for a body. I found the hands just too big for my liking and sold the body on. This sculpt will make a wonderful hybrid....I just need to find the right body!
Do you have any specific body in mind for your floating Dandelion head? I have had my poor Dandelion head for almost a year now and I still haven't figured out what body that will work for her..
No, I don't I am afraid. She worked quite well on the Kaye Wiggs Tobi body scale wise but not in colour on the fair resin (sorry neglected to photo her on it prior to selling the body) and the D.C. kid body was too thin for my liking, so I am currently in limbo!
In the July news, Bimong included this item: Also I'm going to prepare the limited edition decided full option concept for Dandelion new 51~52cm body & new faces in August. I think the new large body has taken more time than he anticipated, so it might not be in August!
I like my Dandelion with the original body. It is different from all my other BJD and I like that. It does make it difficult to find clothes but you might just have to do a custom outfit and get the sewing machine going. I found a nice antique dress forDandelion antique dress for my girl.
