I asked Bimong on Flickr what the new Mildurae's measurements are. Here is his reply: I think it's a shame you can't buy the body separately. There may be collectors who wish to upgrade their Mildurae to the taller body. I was hoping to buy one to put with my Iplehouse JID heads. Isn't 43cm even taller than Narae? I wish Bimong would post detailed photos of the new body. It seems strange that he hasn't.
I got those measurements from him recently as well. And yes, Narae is 41cm, Narin is 43cm. I really would love to see pics of the body too. I was comparing to the measurements of my DT 5yo girls and I think they're going to go reasonably well together.
Haha, it's been a month EXACTLY since my last post... wow...! Anyone received their Mindulrae yet?? Kind of odd for bjd companies these days? I ordered a Narae back in 2005, I don't remember her taking so long to be made? Strange...
One ordered in Jan has shipped, but we haven't seen pics yet. I believe she's still at the face up artist.
For those of us wanting to see the new Mindulrae there is actually one on the MP at the moment -- with good pics. I've checked the rules and the MP rules (twice) and as this doll and this sale are nothing whatsoever to do with me, I believe I can mention them. Several of us have ordered Mindulrae trusting in Bimong's skill as a dollmaker but we've seen hardly anything of the new version yet. So I feel it's reasonable to mention this. Apparently the doll on the MP arrived with a broken part which Bimong promised to replace, then didn't. (The more I hear the more I'm severely out of love with Bimong at the moment.)
Well she's certainly pretty, not sure what I think of the new body, I liked the old just fine, though...! Thank you for pointing her out to us!! :-D There's no way I can afford her, but it's nice to see her anyway...!

Whoops! I guess I asked in the wrong place before. I asked on the Narae thread. It's too confusing with all of the change over and everything. Anyway....I was thinking of ordering a Dandelion, but I didn't know if I had to order the head and body separately. When you click on the Dandelion link it shows the full doll, but then it says the head part and eyes don't come with it. So I'm really confused.
That's a good question. I'm also considering ordering her as well, but I'm concerned about the wait times. Due to the whole D storic taking over Bimongs Back logged orders.
Someone answered my question in the waiting room. You have to order the head and body separately and that increases the shipping to about $83. For a total of around $443 which puts her out of my price range at the moment even with the discount. I don't know if she'll ever be in my price range.
You have to order the head and body separately???!! That is so dumb!! XD Not only does it make shipping insanely high, but the head and body might not be the same color lot. Argh. Why does this dolly have to be so difficult? Lol
LOL! I know! She's such a beautiful doll and I've wanted her forever, but geez!! I don't want to fork over that amount of money for a msd size dolly. I guess I'm too cheap. Plus I guess I should wait to see how the company is working out first. Gah! Maybe once they get all of the old orders shipped out. She goes to the back of the wishlist again for now.

I got my Dandelion in French real about two months? ago but just got her back from Forever Virginia. Virginia did a wonderful face-up, body blush and made a cute little wig for her. I am delighted. The resin is a lovely color, very even, seams mostly sanded nicely and lovely sculpt. Only problem is, she needs to be strung tighter..will get to that. Here she is:
jo1961 your girl is gorgeous and I love her dress. She is much different than my Dandelion. I have one of the older ones in the Oriental French Resin. When I first got her I found her Oriental colour very yellow but now I am used to it. I added more blush and blushed her body. I too have the Oriental color early Dandelion and mine has also turned a very creamy yellow. I still love her and must put the two of them together. I honestly think I like my first Dandelion with my 60cm dolls better. Somehow the new Dandelion looks smaller (although she is taller) and a bit out of scale for my bigger dolls. OH..I love the dress on your girl. Is it silk? Just delicate and beautiful and somehow that fits Dandelion.
