jo1961 your Dandelion is very beautiful! I can't get over how different she looks compared to the earlier version. Shashy I love your Dandelion too! She seems to have a much younger look than the newer version.
It's interesting to see the new dandelion. I too have the original one in the oriental French resin. She's my avatar. A very pretty girl. How do you like the new body.
jo1961 - The dress is an antique doll dress and is cotton plus it has a cotton antique full slip underneath. I really like this dress. I also collect antique dolls and got this for an antique doll but it didn't fit anyone but did fit Dandelion. I didn't like the dress that was on her. Almost everone got that short straight black with their dolls but Narin sent me a horrible smelly white mohair wig that won't stay on her. I had words with them and they finally agree to replace it only if I sent the horribe wig back at my cost for the mailing. I never did but did find this long black one. I am still trying to find a short one where it is a black and very straight. Most of the shorter wigs have a bit of body to them and I don't want that look. Can the new-body Dandelion wear MSD (sized for Volks MSD, not mini-dolls in general) sized clothing? There's an outfit I'm looking at getting, but the auction ends in about a day...
There has not been much activity on this tread but decided to post a couple of photos of both my Dandelions. This was my first Dandelion ordered when Bimong first introduced her..before he made changes to the body. Her resin has yellowed but evenly. I have found that she can wear most MSD items - not all. My second Dandelion (Mindulrae) with slightly larger and taller body. Again most MSD items fit her. This outfit is a Dollheart outfit. Bimong has released Dandelion again from his own site, and .... I grabbed one I fell in love with her way back in the depths of time when she was being sold by Dollfair and I'm over the moon to have bought one of the new girls. She's on a slightly chunkier body than Narae, more MSD sized I think than slim-mini.
I almost snapped one up, but my Dandelion from D-Storic is in customs. I should wait until she is delivered!
They are really far behind on shipping dolls with makeup. She went "on shipping" about the time the warping problems were found and I think they may have needed to re-make her though that is only a guess.
Fingers crossed you're happy with her. I got a Narae sent just before the warping problems, but I sold her on as she was very pink toned, and I didn't care for that. But as far as I know there were no problems with her.
I agree they do, but I do prefer more 'yellow' normal skin rather than pink, in hindsight I should have ordered either white or yellow-normal but I didn't realise how pink their pink-normal would be as I had an older Narae head from D-Storic that was less pink than what I received. Fingers crossed for Bimong's 'normal'!!
Dandelion is normal B which appears to be the more yellow skin in his color picture. At least you won't have long to wait and wonder!
My Dandelion has shipped I can't remember the last time I felt this excited about an incoming doll, she's the nearest thing to a 'grail' doll I have!
Congratulations! Aren't quick deliveries wonderful! My D-Storic Dandelion chose eyes this week! Now a for a wig and clothes!
I think quick deliveries are the way to go (am used to waiting 6 months for Latidoll!), although I bet UK customs will now take longer than it took for Bimong to prepare her! Am looking forward to seeing your girl when she's ready

Thanks Nancy, I'm very pleased with her. She's raided the wigs and outfits and has come up with her own style, I'll take a photo tomorrow as it's dark now. Her body is quite chunky, she doesn't fit any of my Narae sized stuff which doesn't leave her much to wear. On the plus side, I have to go shopping for her!
