1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Mini Bodies that are Double Jointed?

Aug 5, 2007

    1. Could someone show me a picture of a double jointed body please? :)

I have a Little Fair and she has a jointed body but... I'm not really sure what
I'm looking at when we're talking about different joints! :)

    2. Well,
i can tell you that souldoll has a full double jointed body.
It's the only full jointed msd girl body i know off that seems to be working a 100%

Ive had both a Kid delf double jointed boy,
but only his arms are double jointed.
      But they are great! <3

I also have a Petsha.. if you want double joints don't get a DOC body.
      The joints don't work.
She can not properly touch her face!
She can only bend her arm 100 degree's instead of 90.
Unlike my kid delf...his upper and lower arm could be put against each other.

Same go's for the Doc new leg joint..
      it simply doesn't work nice.
My girl keeps waggling and the joint only wants to go back to his original position making her suddenly pull her leg back and fall out of nowhere...
With that it just looks really unnatural..i mean..who has a joint halfway their upper leg?

To me Doc new body is a failed attempt,
it only gave my poor girl ugly useless elbow joints....
My wired msd's posed better then she does D:

    3. Here are some photos of Unoa 1.5 double joints - elbow and back (back double joints are rare). Unoa 1.0 did not have them.
      http://www.rakurakutei.com/theloft/unoa_freak_scans.htm

Double-jointed means exactly that - instead of a knee or an elbow having a single meeting of two body parts (like upper arm to lower arm), an additional resin part in the middle causes there to be two separate joints occur close together on a limb. This adds to the amount the joint can bend, since a single joint elbow or knee joint can usually only bend 90 degrees and hold its position. For the back, in Unoa's case, it help her to bend there (not 90 degrees) and hold the position.

    4. I highly recommend the Volks SDC, especially if you are looking for a boy. They are double jointed in the elbows and knees, where the girls only have double elbow joints. The girls bodies are extremely attractive however, my SDCG Kurenai is one of the most photogenic dolls I've ever met.
