Funny you are asking about the ears. You WILL have to mod them. One is attached to her jaw, as you can clearly see from the pictures, mine and other's. It looks awfully crooked. I could not stand it. My lily head sits in a drawer now, I cannot stand looking on this poor excuse for a head.

 

I think the wonky ears are a great excuse for modding some elf ears on Lili! I would love to see someone do that~ ^_^ It will be awhile before I ever get around to buying another Lili, but if I do I definitely want her to have some elfy-earsies! I can attest that in person (my mother owns a Lili) the ears are off like in the posted photos above but that with a wig they are hardly noticeable. They sit closer/flatter to the back of the head and so disappear with a wig. The face itself is super cute! The dis-proportions actually give it a hands-crafted feel and so I really don't mind it at all. And of course people aren't really symmetrical in real life, hehe! Lili is surprisingly prettier in person than photos attest to, especially after a faceup and wig.

 

Yeah, I never see the ears on my Lili, even with a very, very short wig. She has a beautiful face, so if you like the rest of her sculpt and don't mind the ears (especially if you're into modding), you should go for her. The price point makes sculpting errors much more bearable.

So, I just received my Lili and I have a few questions, I would be much obliged if someone could answer.
1) I ordered her as a complete doll, and she came with the old 1/4 body. Is that normal? Did I have to specify that I wanted the new one? I kinda assumed that it would come with the new one, since it wasn't stated otherwise anywhere.

2) She has sanding marks here and there, the surface is not entirely smooth, and she even has a scuff mark on the side of one of her boobs. Is that to be expected from doll of her price range or not? I've never had a doll like that before, so I wouldn't know.

 

Hi, everyone! I met a message on this forum that Wabbie-chan ordered Lily entire doll and she invitations from the old body.
I do not want the old body! Is there any chance that I will come to the doll in an old body?

 

@Laylin I think they are sending the new body now. They were probably sending out all the old bodies first.
Email Mirodoll and request that the new body is sent...unless you ordered already.

Thanks for the advice, be sure to write them. This week Mirodoll mother died from an accident (he wrote on Facebook), so I'll write a little later.

There is also the question of Lili: which foot it goes in the base kit? I think the order of the feet and hands at the other firm, Miro shop have parts only 1/3 dolls (read the topic of hybrid).

 

Yeah I got mine just a few months back with the old body. Honestly, since the new body is a bit more expensive, they might be still doing the old body if you order the entire doll. Either message them about it or just order head and body seperately

 

I ordered 22/01/17, but they wrote that they would make it. what is the point to cast the old body if they now make a new one?

 

Personally, I prefer the old body. it's far more stable and the joints are better. I got the new body for free and honestly don't like it. I plan on attempting to mod it to improve the jointing. The two bodies are very, very different, so I like that they offer both.

she's lovely I found a blank Lili head in a box today, which came free with my SD girl - it's such a versatile sculpt and very sweet I'll have to get a body for it ASAP

 

Earlier in the year I purchased a mirodoll body for my delilah noir doll. It's increased her range of motion dramatically and allowed her a wider range of poses, but i want to buy her new hands (and possibly feet, to that her hands can be posed too. does anyone have a company that they recommend for hands?

 

On Jan 1 I purchased a Mirodoll Lili and can't wait to receive here but it is taking forever. I heard they normally ship in about a month but I'm closing in on 2 months now. Anyone else have this issue?
