Speaking of interesting faces, I haven't decided what to do with my "dark chocolate" (but really dark grey) Lele - the colour (which is not what I was expecting) means he won't work for my original project plans. Still, I love the scowl, and I think once he has a new faceup he'll work out as the base of a different project.

And in the meantime I'm keeping him in a dress so that at least he has some reason to look so angry! Or it might be because he's too small to share outfits with any of my other dolls...


It's a battle of the terrible outfits!

 

I promise I WILL get comparison pics as soon as I'm able, a bit bed-bound at the moment with sciatica, bleh. I'd say the doll leaves body looks pretty similar in girth, they're both thin, willowy girls. Planetdoll's just a bit curvier and of course the dikadoll looks a bit rotund next to them, lol. Will post when I can sit up and get my sis to help arrange them for a pic for me : P

Anyone else get some cool stuff from their xmas event yet? I love seeing the newness trickling in : D

 

I am so excited I just ordered one of the old mini girl bodies a lili head that should be just prefect for my first mod job. I am going to be so happy to have my steampunk spider lady. I am having one hell of a time figuring out what size eyes and wig she will take. I found some beautiful mohair wigs but I have no idea what to order.

 

I've got a Leekeworld 6-6.5 on mine (above picture)and Mako 14mm Eyes in One, Enchanted Doll 12mm Eyes inthe other. Mako's run small so i'd go with 12mm from any other brand..

I promise I will take quite a few photos of Hyacinth when she gets here and I am glad to see your girls together it makes me feel so much better about the scale because my Emma is a resinsole. Now to find her the perfect blue violet eyes and hair hopefully before she gets home.

 

Cool, i willl look forward to seeing her! yes they fit in nicely will all my dolls of a similar size from other companies

 

Planning to create a Miro hybrid~ planning to buy an akagi head and Mirobody. what is the perfect resin match?

 

Dang it customs let my doll go I want to make her fancy clothes.

 

Anyone know how well Mirodoll matches Dream of Doll? I have a head laying around and I'd really like to get it a body that's as cheap as Mirodoll buuuuuuut I don't really wanna send out its head cap that far for resin matching bc I'm paranoid when it comes to shipping

 

My girl came today! I can't wait to get her hair ordered and her body mods started. I got a free new years head I have no clue what to do with.

I thought I'd join this 1/4 Miro thread with my Lili. I've become really fond of this cutie!! Mine is on the new 1/4 girl body and I just call her Lili. I think it suits her well. I took my little darling out into the woods last weekend for some photos, so I thought I'd share one pic:

Does anybody have a lele sculpt? I've been thinking I want a masculine msd, but his face..... XD I want to see an owner picture to see what he looks like with clothes and wig, I think he could be worked with to be really awesome!

Hi! Some really lovely dolls in this thread, you all are partly responsible for my hand hovering over the "order" button for a Lili... Or Yaya... I keep changing my mind... Lili right now though... hehe

I was just wondering if you folks could tell me what size wigs/eyes your Lilis (or Yayas) wear?

I'm still waffling about ordering one right away, but I've wanted to get a small chest for my Wind for a long time too, so I'm going to place *some* order soon... She might get a sister at the same time as a breast reduction o.O;

 

Hi Glomgrey! Lili and Yaya both take 14mm eyes well and I like the 6-7 wig size is the best for mine, because I prefer wigs nice and snug, but they can wear most 7-8 too ok. Oooh, I hope you will get one of these cutie little girls!! I'm just nuts about mine.

I'd love to see your "re-shaped" Wind then too once she gets her new chest part. Do post a pic of her in the 1/3 thread! I like my Wind with the small chest as well...
