Thanks [MENTION=52667]Blankqueen[/MENTION] for the info! I've finally got some money through paypal limbo and made up my mind, so I put in my Lili (and small chest for Wind) order ^.^

I'm working on a new faceup for my Wind, but I will post some pics of her over at the 1/3 thread when she's done. Hopefully I can get it right tonight, I've started over 4 times so far...

Hi Everyone! Huge thanks to Blankqueen for directing me over here. I ordered Lele the day before yesterday and am now settling in for the wait. I also bought a few guy patterns for him and to enlarge for my bigger guys! Can't wait to get him! Oh...I also still have to get a wig for him, I think he will come with eyes so over the next few days I will make him a pair of sweat pants or lounging pants and a T-shirt. so he won't have to run around here nude! Not like that is a big deal around here. Most of my dolls are nude. I am a shockingly BAAAAD Mom. LOL But now that I am out of school I will have plenty of time to do some sewing.

 

It's great to have more company here, welcome Dee Musgrave (and your Lele of course)!! What colour hair and eyes are you planning for him? I gather he will be contemporary/urban style clothing ways, right? I hope you will post pics for us once he arrives, with or without clothes! LOL! I don't have a Mirodoll msd boy (yet anyway), but you remind me I should do some sewing for my resin gang too...

He is OUT FOR DELIVERY! YAY! I'll have a new dollie to play with. I will definitely post pics but probably won't do much of a box opening show. Hmmm I wonder which of the wigs that I have will he look good in....Now I am going to jump every time some one walks by my apartment or I hear a truck in the parking lot! Good thing that I got some house cleaning done yesterday! Now I can take some time to play!

What would happen if you put an IH JID head on it? The neck sizes are so different, even if the girl heads are pretty small. Has anyone done this?

 

Well, the harem type mid-eastern pants did NOT fit him. They were too big, so I have to go back in and try them again. Sigh...I hate it when that happens. But the good news is...they do fit one of my vinyl off topic dolls...so she is going to get a type of belly dancer costume. Waste not, want not right?

I might redo her faceup anytime soon and need to fix her dress so it fits over her bust and she Needs a better quality wig, but all and all i love my creepy girl

Her hands are resinsoul, modded the wrists .

 

I am finally getting Yaya or Lili! I ordered a body for one of my other dolls and I got a 1/4 head free!
So hard to choose...argghh.

I took out my dremel, and deepened the eye wells so the lower lid wasnt as thick and to be able to have her wear eyes without gaps

Gave her a new faceup aswell,she Needs a restringing though

Katzen, Ophelia looks great! I have issues with the eye sockets in an other doll, but am too scared to grab the dremel... might give it a go soon

 

LOL, No, I finally decided on Yaya!

 

This was my first "mod" ever and i was superscared, but it is really worth it. I now have a newfound love for her. I was about to sell her. Now i need to fix her floppy body. She needs new elastics (if anyone could tell me the diametre *in mm* of the elastics I should buy ) and im going to hotglue suède her body, which I also find extremely scary

Looks like Yaya's gaining in popularity! Awesome! I have my Yaya dressed in the closet too for a photo shoot, but haven't had time to do the deed yet. Maybe tomorrow!

I've been poking about on the site and wow! What a price! I really love Yaya. How do you all like their poseability? Sounds like maybe they tend to need restringing and sueding, but then are fine?
