Mine is on the "old body":I would suède and restring her *I need to do mine aswell* and i modded the wrists to fit resinsoul hands (miros wrist joint is not round but oval,modding made her wrists/hands more poseable ) she is singlejointed, so That limits the posing a bit,but they are really great dolls

Thanks August Moon and Katzen on my Yaya! She's such fun to style and as we can see in this page alone, she really is cut out for tons for different looks.

Geekmama, my Lili and Yaya have the new Mirodoll girl body and I've found it pretty good to pose. Not the best poser maybe, but not the worst either... and the price point, she's pretty fabulous. The mid torso joint works really well, which is very important to me, head rotation is good. The knees and the elbows are her weakest points. I have not sueded mine at all, but I did tighten her strings and I wired her arms. She has posed like a trooper ever since.

 

does anyone have the boy bodies?? I'm considering getting the 65cm male body for my floating head. I'll probably wait for the event that ends today to cycle back around again though.

I have a couple Mirodoll on my wish list right now (Annie and Yaya). I noticed that Annie is sold in 60cm and 70cm-- could anyone tell me if there is any difference (size or otherwise) between the 60 and 70cm versions? Or are they the same head, just on different bodies?

 

Hi Celestine! Lovely choices you've got there. I have them both too. Annie head is the same for all the bodies, no size difference or other differences. The same head works on all the 1/3 girl bodies: 60cm, 62cm and 70cm. I like my Annie the best on the 62cm body. You can request that too.

 

Hi everyone! I'm new here and this is my first doll As you can see it's 1/4 Lili, I really love her

This might sound silly but I've read before that you'll (mostly) need restringing with mirodoll bodies. Since I'm pretty new, I don't really know if mine is too loose or too tight... I did notice that both her legs always bent whenever I moved her so I tried to tighten the string from the neck part. It gets better for posing but still happens most of the times. I'm just curious is it normal or...?

 

I hate restringing so I have sueded all mine, trying to get out of it...works for me! Your Lili is eally cute. I have Yaya on the way.

 

I'm waiting for my own Lili to arrive. One question though: How long did it take for her to arrive at your home?

 

Thanks for the advice! I probably need to learn how to restringing properly first before even thinking to suede. I'm too scared I might do something wrong and ended up with a broken doll ^^;; I can't wait to see your Yaya!

I placed the order on January during their sale event and arrived one month later! It was pretty fast! And they didn't send notification when mailing the stuff so it was a really nice surprise when she arrived ^^ I'm guessing they have some in stock for the event and the extra time needed was probably for the face-up. I hope yours will arrive soon!

 

My Yaya's body arrived today. Although I'm still waiting for her outfit, wig and new eyes to arrive, I was so excited I just had to take a quick photo. The Ddung clone she's holding is a free gift Mirodoll sent out with her. I'm calling her Joan for now.

@Katzen That wig looks so pretty on your Ophelia! The wig I ordered for my Joan is very similar in style and colour, so I'm hoping it will look just as good on her.

Marika, it's great to see your sweet Lili on here. I can't get over how adorable she looks with black hair!

Did she come with those eyes or did you get them for her? They suit her so well. I hope you will bond with her and have loads of fun... and share tons of pics of her!!!!

 

Are Mirodolls all slightly smaller then their counterparts at other companies? I bought a 1/4 body to replace my current one and it was super small in conparison but the skin tone matched perfectly which made me really sad..

 

Too bad about that, Ladyzentra! I have Miro's 1/4 new girl body and that one is a little bit smaller than some of my other companies' 1/4 dolls. The upper body is very similar to my Doll Leaves, Ringdoll and Dollzone 1/4 girls, but the Miro girl's legs are shorter. Dollmore kids, Impl Young girls and such are a bit chunkier and bigger. Miro 1/3 scale dolls are very regular sized. Did you not find any comparison row pics before making the purchase? I would've had one on my website with lots of different MSD girls.

 

I didn't think to look at comparison photos since its the first time I bought just the body. Won't do that again but I learned ^-^ It was a boy body so I dont know if that would make a difference.

 

Oh I see, yeah. The Miro 1/4 boy body as well as the older girl are apparently really small. The old girl body is too. My photo would not have helped you anyway. Shame that it wasn't good for your head, but maybe you will find some other use for the body.
