1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Moments of Ridiculous Happiness

Mar 9, 2010

    1. This is probably an example of what most people feel, but I get very excited when I find new clothes to put my doll in. I love when Shiloh has something cute. Even though I'm the only one of my friends in the hobby, it makes me feel good to show him off. Like "Look! Look at his new shirt!" It just makes me so happy. :D

    2. You see that the doll you ordered is so close to you and yet so far and you just can't help but spaz out because you want to just run over and get it yourself instead of waiting on delivery. :| slow delivery peoples. :pout:

    3. Ha ha, one time I was bouncing off the walls waiting for a doll because it was "out for delivery". But then the status changed and it was at the post office again :? I had to wait till the next day for it to be delivered!

    4. melliex, I'm waiting too and it hate it!

    5. @ Yukiamina. Oh god. That would kill me. I'd run down there and be all like "GIMME MAH PACKAGE NOW! I SAW IT OUT FOR DELIVERY!!!!!!"

@SapphireSavvy It's horrible. It's like the day can not go fast enough for me x_x It's just taking it's sweet time going slow cause it wants to torture me.

    6. When I knew that Dawn was out for delivery, I parked myself right next to the window and wouldn't budge until she showed up. XD My sister said I looked like I was on a mission from God. I just get so excited!

    7. Ahhhh, the wait is driving me nuts. Tracking info says my girl is in customs in Chicago, but that was on the 19th! I was really hoping she would be here by now, so I'm starting to get nervous.

    8. Uuuugh I remember when my boy finally made it through customs, a tracked him like crazy. And then he reached my town and was out for delivery. I paced my porch the whole time, and my mom just watched me like a crazy person XD

Can't wait to get my next doll so I can have that feeling again. The anticipation is killer, but looking back on it, it was pretty awesome too XD

    9. I have a dude in the mail right now and I'm prreeeetty sure he will arrive tomorrow... So, yeah. xD I'm there right now.

As always I'm scared that I'll miss the mailman, and that he'll be an idiot and just leave it on the porch instead of leaving a pick-up slip. e-x And I live in a busy neighbourhood so yeahhhh that's pretty much my worst fear and it's looping around and around in my head right now xDD; aaahhhh, can he just get here and be safe in my arms already...

    10. Oh, I know this feeling, definitely! When my Crobidoll Zion was shipped to me a little over a year ago, I was so excited and couldn't wait all day for the package to come. But on the day he was supposed to arrive, the mailman didn't even try to deliver it and instead he slipped a small pink piece of paper in the middle of all our mail saying that he "tried to deliver it" even though I watched him not even get out of the truck to come to our door with anything. I was so mad! I had to wait until the next day to go to the post office in the morning to pick him up. At least at that point I was happy to finally get my boy.

I'm about to go through the "OMG when will my doll get here" emotions again actually, because I'm currently waiting for the shipping notice for my Migidoll Ryu! Haha, I hope it goes better this time around and the mailman actually delivers him to our door. (He's delivered lots of other things to our door since then and I think before then, so I'm really confused on why it was different that day.)

Either way, I'm already excited and can't wait for him to get here!

    11. I was at work when they tried to deliver my big guy because his estimated arrival day was the next day and I got called in, so I went thinking he wouldn't arrive that day. I left work early, bawling my eyes out because UPS had it and they don't have any sort of pick-up service. I cried myself to sleep that night. I was a mess.

I want to move to Korea so I can just buy them outright and have them. Waiting sucks!

    12. Ooo Zion is gorgeous. Congrats on your purchase.

Mine should come soon. I'm starting to go CRAZY. :...(

    13. True story: I had a doll being delivered one day and knew I would have to sign for it. I had to leave suddenly and wouldn't be home. I called the post office, asked my post lady's route, found her and got my doll :)

    14. While I was waiting on my Celine, the tracking number was sent to me wrong, so I had no idea where she was. Then I get the marvellous mysterious call from the post office saying that I have a package from Korea...but that it would be shipped two days later :P Why? Because it was Thursday, and no one was on duty to deliver packages, and then Friday was a day off! It was a torturous wait for Saturday lol, but it was worth it ;)

    15. I've honestly stopped letting my delivery person get away with this! I was waiting for a doll (and several other packages besides) that had arrived while I was out of town, and were being held with the rest of my mail since I'd stopped service while I was away. I waited all day, heard the guy filling the boxes downstairs (I can hear it clearly from my desk when he opens and closes the box unit), and waited for him to buzz... nothing. Went downstairs, got the slip, went to the post office and complained until the called him and made him wait somewhere where I could go retrieve my packages!

    16. One day I got a call from the EMS, thay informed me that my parcel arrived, and home delivery is planned only in three days! But I could not just sit and wait, knowing that my precious was very close. I immediately asked about customer pickup and drove to the other end of the city to finally get my piece of happiness.

    17. Ha! That's exactly what I'm doing today -- hovering over FedEx tracking and trying to plan my work schedule around when the truck might arrive. I'm not unbalanced at all, nope . . .

I think I must have the most wonderful mail carrier and local post-office staff in America -- they're entertained by my doll packages from all over the world and keep a special eye on them, so I never get this twitchy if a doll is arriving by EMS or Priority Mail. FedEx and UPS, on the other hand, are a different story. Their schedules are soooooooo unpredictable around here, and there's no pick-up location closer than an hour's drive away, argh.

    18. The worst for me----when delivery is on a Monday, and no one is home and I can't go to the PO until Saturday to pick them up due to my work schedule! I've actually asked to leave work early to go pick up a doll. >.>

    19. Oh god. . I requested off from work one day because I knew UPS was coming. No regrets . . haha, I'd watch the tracking like crazy!

    20. The day I got my first doll I was so nervous! I had never bought anything online before, or ever had a package delivered to me. A friend helped me make the purchase and track it. I scheduled the day off work so I could be there to get him. When I heard the mail truck I popped out of the door like a rabbit bolting from his hole, and scared the poor mail delivery person to death!
When I ordered my second doll I was in the process of moving and so had her sent to my sisters house.... who forgot to tell me she was there... for a week!
