Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       Child/childhood Sexual Abuse.

      To add to the topic of the post itself—there's this one from Bonbon Galaxy that is a bit of an oddball for me: The bone catfish mermaid. It's a mixture if something cute and chibi with something that's bordering on horror/macabre being thrust together. Not saying there's anything particularly wrong with it overall, it's just a weird amalgamation of concepts put together into one bjd:kitty2

    2. I think out of all of the dolls they’ve been named in this list so far, she is the only one that unsettles me. Perhaps it’s the company faceup? I don’t know. She’s got this soulless grin and black eyes. This combined with the Barbie-style baby is so off from what I’d expect a bjd company to make a baby look like. The scale of it is weird, how you put it in is weird, she’s barely pregnant…. The list goes on. Thank you for showing her to me.

      EDIT; I’d like to add my own doll! I’m not sure why, but he was the first sculpt I saw that made me go “noooo way. Not for me” in a way that wasn’t just aesthetics. I can’t find his sculpt name anywhere. He’s an MSD and his eyes are vertical instead of horizontal— if that makes sense? I saw him and immediately stopped looking at him.

      Because I personally couldn't stop giggling. I'm neutral on it, not my cup of tea but it might be someone else's; and that's fine.
      However, will regular clothes even fit that chest? :lol:

    5. Oh same, I know someone will consider any single doll their ideal dream, clearly the sculptor thought this was well worth making so it's got fans already- it's just quite visually striking in proportions.

    6. Yes! It was the proportions that really threw me off too. I realize that the styles of dolls change frequently, but that's a buff body for a semi-real proportioned head. It is visually very striking!
      I am curious to see it when they are delivered to people.

    8. I'm not sure what to make of it either. I mean, it's... unusal, for sure. It's also a little bit awesome. And a little bit funny.
      I kind of like the proportions, I mean, why not go all out when making something like this?
