Most expensive doll in your collection

That's a really good question.

If we're talking initial outlay, probably $1200ish for my Soom Hyperion.
But if we're talking money spent on getting a doll right then easy over $2500 on getting bodies to swap parts around for one doll. ONE! The things we do for these little resin terrors.

 

My most expensive is Soom ID75 Void which was $1,100 because he has the jointed hands.

 

I love gumiho neo. I sadly couldn't get him. Did you get his hanbok? I would love to see photos of him. I've been having a hard time finding him on Instagram compare to the female dolls.

 

The most expensive doll is the head of the Volks doll, which I bought for about $1,900. There was a resale later, and I bought another one because I liked it so much. It is sad that I bought it at a high price, but I don't regret it.

 

Sadly, I did not. I ended up purchasing him after his original release when they did an event and his head was an option.

 

My most expensive doll is Iplehouse FID Nancy with freckles, clothes and wapons for about 850 USD.

All together with clothes, faceup and wig. Probably my Rap1993 Mint Danni, she was about 700cad and I spent another 400+ on her customization. Full doll, finished from the company, my Ringdoll Nikki fullset. She was about 1200cad and honestly she's probably the most expensive I'd go, unless I found my holy grail doll. Hard to find boy :')

 

Uh... I bought Volks Hermione... She was $1200, I think...?

 

Currently my most expensive one would be around $950 from Ringdoll, only since it is a fullset. I was amped up for Tian ba set but I was too slow by few minutes..

 

I haven't really bought any crazy expensive dolls, so probably either my Dollzone Va Carter or Migidoll Yujin. I don't remember how much I spent on my Yujin, but probably about the same as Va Carter. I bought an IOS Crow yesterday, too, which is close to them. As far as how much my dolls are worth, I'm not sure what would be my most expensive because idk what they're worth on the second hand market, haha.

 

Not that expensive as some of the ones I've seen in this thread but my most expensive doll by itself (not considering wardrobe, custom face-ups and wigs, etc.) must be my Souldoll Vito at 420$ blank and nude. That is probably the most I would ever spend on a doll. Not that I plan to buy more in a near future, anyway.

 

The most expensive would be my secondhand Little Monica Little Haazel. I don't know why he was more expensive than the other Little Monica MSD I also bought from the same seller, but it may be due to his faceup.

 

A complete and unused Dollfie Dream Kagamine Rin cost me 180,000 JPY because... she's Kagamine Rin.

A few days after I bought her Volks announced she was being re-released.

D'oh.

At least I have her now, and although they've re-re-re-released Miku Hatsune, she still goes for very high prices.

Some you win... some you lose. I bought Asuna Titania and two Kirika's (Shining Resonance) at good prices.

 

My most expensive doll would be my first doll, Loongsoul Reno. At the time he cost me about $1200cad with his faceup and outfit included. He is the most expensive thing I've actually ever bought for myself.

 

Volks Tae in 2008. I paid $700 after tax with all saving 18 yo me had. But she came with everything.

 

I have a Angel of Dream Bo that was about $600. Totally worth it.

 

I'm still waiting on him to arrive, but it would be a dollmore lusion, I payed around $2600 CAD for him. I'm a bit scared to see what I'll be paying in customs lol !

I think my Soom Romantic Dia in tan is my most expensive doll outright + even when I added in faceups and extras, he'd still come out on top. Since he was my grail doll when I was super active in the hobby, I kinda spoiled him a bit

 

I am recently crazily in love with works from Popovy Sisters, their dolls are soo artistic and spiritual, even though they are just too expensive to have. I doubt I would own one for my life.

So it occurs to me though, that makes me wonder, what are the most expensive and collection-level dolls you all owned? And what makes you determined to own them?
