Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I mean, yeah, don't get me wrong, it's a nice enough sculpt, but when you use the word "Herculean" to describe someone, I am imagining, at minimum, Olympic track star muscles.

      Also, whomever mentioned boypink, I hate you. :XD: Like I really need a head pre-order on top of all the other orders I have out there.

    5. I wonder if sending an image reference of the specific body type would get them to understand exactly what people are specifically requesting? Not sure if that's ever been done, but the effort wouldn't hurt.;)

      I in general would like a wider variety in female bodies. There are too many curvy girls or child-like bodies, but when it comes to something more muscular, or, hell, more realistic, they're harder to come by. One of my girls is supposed to be more curvy and muscular (and shorter in the SD scale, around 56-60cm) but most of the bodies in that size category are either too feminine for my taste, too slender/young teenaged, or too basic.

      We need some more body type representation darn it!:3nodding:

      Also, I had to look up boypink, and discovered their work on tumblr. Gotta say: I hope they bring those bodies to post production. Those sculpts are delish!

    6. @jade-eyed-cat, it's been done, yes! And a petition was signed and everything. But maybe they don't see the beauty in such a form or it's too risky marketing-wise. Eventually someone will fill in the void, the agony is in the waiting! also believe in variety and would like short and tall muscular women to choose from! ...You know, for dolls. I think for the most part the industry tends to go with what it knows will sell. That's where the more Independent artists, like boypink or Arwen, come in. And thank goodness!

    8. I am 3000% a number one. I don't understand both why muscular women aren't glamourized like muscular men are. I mean, small, delicate ladies like myself are pretty, and as are curvier ladies, and... okay, I mostly just really like girls. But there is something breathtaking about muscular women.

      I'm wondering how tricky a hybrid would be right now. Impldoll has a male torso that has a relatively feminine shape and muscles, and from there, I could probably do some basic mods... But the body is too small for my character.

    9. I definitely want one! I've seen thin girls, chubby girls, but never muscular! i can imagine they may not sell as well as thin dolls.... Which may be why companies don't want to do it?

    12. Well, I would certainly love to see others get a doll like this! I personally would not simply because I like the less mature characters for my own dolls. (they are like little children, and therefore make better refs for children illustration!) However I really would love to see some dolls out there like this! I don't see enough characters that are muscular females, and for obvious reasons, I don't see any dolls like that. I think it's a shame, I want to see more body types!

    13. OhmygoshOhmygosh! I just got confirmation that Impl DID make the body based on my proposed pics. They have some adjustments to do and hope to reveal her in February! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!* IMPLDOLL I LOVE YOU!!!!

      These are the pics I sent them as they requested a model to base the work on. Now I have not seen the new body, I just know they made her: Glorious by wunderbex

      It's a superhero body, to be sure, as I didn't want to deviate too far from company aesthetics, but I know boypink is working on a bulkier (less cut) version and I know of another attempt at it too (nothing firm on that one yet, only I have seen the roughs) so maybe we'll have some actual choices soon!

      CRAP. I might have to reorder my red girl in the new muscle body then. Oh Poop.

      And I would SO have to have a green one for She-Hulk. *sighs* More Impldolls on my list. I think at this point they own both kidneys and a lung.

      This made my day, please please be a nicely proportioned and well-detailed bodyyyy, Impldoll is getting better and better all the time and now they are winning my heart completely if they can offer a great muscular goddess! YESS

    16. Oooh, no they did not! I suggested Idol and their new Starwoman (I am hoping they allow legs that do both) so I am /assuming/ the 70cm Idol height... I will ask though! I was just so excited they wrote back and confirmed it was happening! <3 I actually thought of you when I got the news. *LOL* "Adalwolf will be so happy!"

    20. *LOL* It's no problem at all! This IS exciting news for those of us who have been waiting! If I DO get a new red girl with muscles, I'll have finally properly shelled my Chalyss character after trying for... gosh, ten years now! And Impldoll helped me even do the red part! I certainly have loyalty and love for them, moreso now that they claim to be answering our prayers and begging! *L* I am also hopeful Mirodoll will be bringing one out next year too, but as that hasn't been confirmed and this has, that is still just a (probable) hope.

      I can't say I've been completely altruistic in my push toward someone/anyone getting us what we want, but I know the struggle and I am so so SO happy to help others get their heart's desire too! These dolls and characters mean a lot to us and it's so frustrating not to get what we want so desperately. It's like our brains aren't right if our girls and boys aren't right.

      I'll continue to update (I'll ask for pics but they mentioned needing to work on proportions so they may not be willing to reveal anything yet, but I shall beg!) and I always love to accept hugs, real or cyber! hugshugs!
