Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Now I am also definitely in the market for a muscular SD lady. I think my Iplehouse Carina will get an Impldoll body. We shall see. Or maybe another one? I do not know yet.

    3. 1-I've always wanted to be a muscular female but alas I am to lazy to work out :lol: So instead I will have a beautiful muscular doll! The first one I saw was IMPLdoll's girl and recently on their Facebook page Mirodoll showed a prototype of a muscular female they're working on. Excited to see the final product! :whee:

    11. Then go with Impldoll.... they ARE great and their product is wonderful! Maybe you can get a Miro one on the MP later on. :) If you even want one then. Now that Impl has added the front thigh slots for mobility, the girls are soooo much better!


      I am too! Only I think that company may have ceased to exist- so I a, happy I have at least one of their muscular bodies! Getting a second may not be in the cards though, unless on the MP.

    12. So I have done a little bit of research (nothing more, after that Fairyland Hippogriff I am totally broken). And I came to the conclusion that I just do not really love the Impldoll body. The waist looks is just too wasp-like on company pictures. I like the Fantasia Doll body much better. There is even one on sale here, but I just can't to that right now.

      Problem is, that I want to do a Wonder Woman. And Gal Gadot just is not that super defined (yet?). Ah well, let's see. Maybe there is something coming along my way.

    13. Hmmm.... I agree- if you want a Gal Gadot WW then the Impldoll is not the ideal form. The Fantasia one is fabulous for her actually! Miro might be.

    14. Thank you for those Mirodoll pics. I think she looks not as extremely wasp-waisted as the Impldoll one (sorry Impldoll!). However, I want to wait for the final product.

      So far, the option which is not available any longer, is still my favourite: Fantasia Doll

      I think you're going to get wasp waists from the main stream producers because it covers a range- it's a generic muscle body that needs to fit many desires, not just a swimmer, or a gymnast or a body builder. I know that can cause frustration but I feel the bodies need to hit the market, prove there's money to be made in this niche, then get specialization from there. Only small companies who do pure pre-order would be able to be so specific at this point in BJD history. (The Impldoll, however, was true to the model they used: she was an usually curvy, built, bosomed, stunning lady. And I'd chosen that model to run a gamut to suit needs. Sadly, not every type can be filled the first time out. I hope in the years to come body types, instead of a blanket body, can be entertained.)

      Fantasia doll was close to perfect, I agree! But they do still pop up on the MP.

    19. Muscular and fat/pudgy dolls would be nice. A nice variety in body types. Sometimes i'm looking for something outside the general bjd body standard.

    20. I think I came across this thread as a 4, but the boypink body is turning me into a 2. It's so beautiful! Most of the muscular women bodies don't interest me, probably because of the superhero proportions, but that one... Usually I make characters from face sculpts, but now I've made one from a body sculpt. Both the body and the proposed head are not available right now, so I'll have to wait and see. The neck size is 11 cm, right?
