Musedoll Ciel Re-Release

I did go ahead and order a glamorous body from Musedoll last night, so Ciel will get her body in the near future. The only difference I could see between the glamorous and the regular body, seemed to be the breast size. Normally, I like the smaller chests but in these bodies--I didn't care for the smaller one.

And yes, my Ciel has the S 01 smokey and shimmer faceup. They did a wonderful job on it, as she looks just like their photos on the makeup page.

I ordered the silver glass eyes when I ordered the head. They have since run out of them, from what I read on their website. They were $28.

Glad you liked seeing my girl. Ciel is waiting patiently for her body, though she has hinted that I should get sewing something for her. I told her it would be best to wait for her body to arrive, so I can see what size she is.

I have compared her to many bodies, as I have a lot of dolls from various companies. She did not match the Customhouse bodies I have. She is not close to any of the resins I have. I really doubt she is going to match a different brand body, but I could be wrong. I compared her with my Customhouse, Elfdoll, Volks, Dollmore, ShinyDoll, Cerberus Project/Luts, Leaf, Lovelyhouse, Notdoll, Peakswoods, Rhea, Soom and Souldoll. Maybe a few others. No matches that I would find suitable for my tastes.

Since you asked about Customhouse, here is a photo I just snapped of my Customhouse Shooting Star who is normal skintone and Ciel:



I adjusted the photo color as best I could. And in person, the difference is more apparent than in my photo. Customhouse looks quite yellow next to Ciel who is pink.

Well, I just ordered a normal bodied Ciel with the cutie make-up. I'm not sure how long it will take her to get here.. I hope she'll arrive in time for my birthday, but one can only hope hehe.. (I doubt it with all the things I've read in this thread thus far.).... I am not sure what I am going to name her yet... I have got a bunch swirling around in my mind, but I am pretty sure nothing will settle until she actually is physically here.

I haven't had a big doll in a while. I wonder how she'll fit in with my Bambi, my Lusis. ^^

 

I ordered a Ciel sometime ago, and after seeing your pics of her vicki_j i'm absolutely ecstatic! But she's taking FOREVER to ship =/.

The comparision photos are great, I just love Ciel's skin tone, looks so fresh and young.

As I see some of you have ordered her. I am checking posts day by day for some photos from new Ciel's owners, I just can't wait... Musedoll, please hurry up, we are waiting here

i ordered her QUITE a while ago.
and musedoll just told me that she would ship by the end of the month.
im very anxious to get her.

 

They told me she would ship today ... And she did'nt.
Friday it is my Birthday and won't have her

 

Meiko, I'm sorry you probably won't be getting her by your birthday. I was told my girl would ship out today as well, maybe they have shipped and the company hasn't been able to update individual order status yet? So maybe there's still hope for them coming soon!

I'm hoping mine will get here on my birthday too (the 28th), but it's a long shot, hehe. From all of what I've been reading it looks like she might take a month. ._.;; Hopefully things will speed up gradually over time, right? ^^

Just for reference, I ordered my Ciel 4th January and she was just shipped out today, so there's hope for all of us yet!

I ordered mine with a face-up too.
I was under the impression that problems with suppliers led to delays in getting the orders out - I'm not sure whether Musedoll were waiting for eyes or wigs or both. I do sympathise with Musedoll, they are a small company trying so hard to please all of us.
My wait - about 6 weeks - seems a long time, but it isn't too bad considering the length of time I've waited for some other dolls.
Hope everyone receives their dolls soon.

 

Pianissimo - you are right, the time of waiting is not so important. It must be a torture to wait for a doll, but it suppose to be high quality product, so better to wait and recive what you were wishing for
Musedoll looks very proffesional, so I am sure that I will see new Ciels here on DoA soon

 

Indeed, I think they are very kind and professionnal. Surely some of the most reliable BJD company.
