It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. MYou tinies discussion - Part 2

Dec 16, 2020

    1. Adorable family! Is the dad an Iplehouse in SRS? If so, I have Iplehouse SRS and Myou Coffee (and tan) so can show ya those compared if you'd like. :>

    2. Yes, he's an Iplehouse FID in Special Real Skin. And she's Peach/Cream from SartoriaJ. I'd been looking around for affordable toddlers, and the choice was between the Myou tinies and the Supia Babies. But neither company shows those dolls in the colours I'd be interested in.

Yes, I would appreciate seeing the Myou Coffee with the SRS. Then just watch me change my mind yet again. I'm so indecisive!

    3. Dudes I need help. I have 3 myou mature tinies, an NONE of them have shoes!! I've bought shoes. I've bought a lot of shoes. It's always either too big or too small. Where are you guys buying shoes these guys?? I'm desperate please!!

    4. I only own one male mature tiny, and I can say definitely 1:6 hollow male shoes are too big on the male mature tinies, female ones might work if they are made out of fabric and meant to go on feet. However, I don't own that many female action figure shoes (just a few that are not meant to go on feet, so I can't try). The one pair of hollow 1:6 female action figure plastic molded shoes I did try on my male, didn't work -- they are too tight and might scratch the resin with overuse/removal. The Real Littles shoes seem to work on females, judging from owner photos of them on the female's a few posts back. I haven't tried my second repeated pair on my male (would have to slice the back open, and I'm lazy to switch my x-acto blade to do so), so I can't say if they do work on the male feet for sure -- which are supposed to only be a bit wider than the females, if my brain doesn't completely fail me. Ken shoes are too small, from what I remember, but I don't own too many of those loose, either (I am a MISB Barbie/mass-produced-fashion-doll hoarder, so...)

An old photo of my male Bettina, who's supposed to be my Ken Kaneki fan-art doll, but still remains nude because i am a lazy old fart and haven't gotten any #0 white nylon zippers for his awakened outfit yet (as an excuse to remain a procrastinator for eternity). I'm planning on repainting him soon, but I keep hesitating because I kind of regret not having taken many photos of his previously enhanced fist face up, but I also didn't love it enough to want him to keep it, nor do I want to attempt recreating it (it was a hot mess). And because I am such an amazing face up artist, I know I can do so much better on my next try (old-person daily dosage of bitter sarcasm, please ignore me)!

    5. yah I also only own boys. I bought shoes for a male 1/6 model and as you stated they're too big. I bought expensive SK house ones for blythe and they ended up being too small (just barley). I have some monster high shoes and tried them on for fun. The actual fit was good, BUT because the outside is way bigger then the inside, they looked insane... tragic

    6. I just straight up ordered the shoes from the full sets when I ordered my boys since I feared I'd never find suitable ones for them. I still struggle to even get those on and off them though so my boys tend to hang out shoeless. I also have a pair of Ken's sandals that stay on with little blue tack at the bottom of the feet but they're not exactly the greatest visually since obviously they're cheap ugly plastic.

I think I read that Pullip TaeYang shoes should be pretty good fit but I don't have any so I can't vouch for them. The measurements seem to be bigger than the feet on these dolls is but at least they'd be easier to get on than the teeny tiny Myou shoes I guess...

    7. I haven't looked into TaeYang size, I guess that will be next haha

    8. I own a Taeyang MIO that wears Taeyang sized boots, but they are laced up boots and they would be a royal pain in the gut to remove to try on my Bettina. I feel like they are too big for Myou mature tiny male feet, but then I am a bit particular about proportions and shoes, and probably fit. Despite the doll not giving a crap about any of that...Lol!

Not going to help most people, probably, but I shared a tutorial for fashion doll sized sneakers on a few threads on here, by YouTube crafter BijouTV. They are super easy to make since everything is glued together. I was able to make a semi-not-too-crappy pair of sneakers on my first try. I feel that if I had sewed everything instead of being a lazy bum and using glue for all, when I don't have the skills to be using glue. I would have gotten a better or at least cleaner result. The tutorial can be seen on YouTube here, the pattern is free and super easy to resize. I resized it in Photoshop to be slightly longer than the male foot size. Hope it helps people who can't find any other alternatives for Myou mature tiny male shoes. (:

    9. Thanks for sharing! I was going try to avoid it, but its looking more and more likely that making the shoes yourself is the only way haha. Oh well, who doesn't love a challenge.

    10. Well, I myself am not a crafty person, yet I was able to make the shoes (they could be cleaner for sure!). The biggest problem for most will probably be not finding all the tools and materials. However, I feel like they are all easy to swap for different alternatives.

I even made a pair of pvc boots, but I don't like the fit. I will have to modify some parts of the pattern to make it work for boots tgat are to my liking. Otherwise, it's a rather easy tutorial to follow and mod to most anyone's needs. (:

    11. I got into the hobby to do faceups and make wigs, so I love arts and crafts! But shoe making just seemed so daunting, you know? The tutorial doesn't seem too hard though, so thanks again for sharing.

    12. I completely understand! I've been a traditionally trained artist all my life, I always wanted to customize my own dolls, and even "learned" very basic sewing basics, but shoe making is definitely something I never even thought about. I found Bijou's tutorial quite a few years ago, and always thought about trying it for my 1:6 action figures, but I am a lazy procrastinator. However, there are shoe alternatives for 1:6 action figures even I can deal with, so I kind of didn't mind not making my own for those figures. For my one and only mature tiny BJD so far, it is kind of annoying not finding anything that seems to work well enough for me. I am picky about proportions however, I could probably get away with male action figure shoes, but I know it's going to bother me. Female action figure shoes are kind of limited in variety, I know I wouldn't be able to find much, even if some might fit. So, I better get to learning some shoe making skills fast. Lo! Good luck with your shoe hunting or shoe making adventures! (:

    13. wow! Double post, how does that happen? PLEASE DELETE!

    14. Haha are we the same person? This is everything I've tried/ thought, even being a lazy procrastinator. I guess this is what we get for choosing unique sized doll.

    16. Well, I finally made up my mind, and ordered Dudu and Feng Linger in coffee. I was surprised that there was an Event going on, so they were 15% off. In the meantime I'll use my normal resin ones as costume models while I wait for their 'healthier' looking versions to arrive.

    17. Hello, just wanted to introduce my Gina to the thread:

    18. Fun seeing Gina as a brunette. I like her style. These mature tinies are great fun.

    19. I received a shipping notice for my DuDu and Feng Linger this morning!

I ordered them in coffee, to replace the same two in normal resin that I already had, so I've been able to prepare an entire medieval wardrobe for both of them while I waited.
