  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       So I took the plunge and wiped my Lillian's default face-up. Re-painted her so she had metallic lilac lips and shimmery eyeshadow (both scream mid-late '90s to me). What do you guys think?

    9. Gah, I had fallen for a MK Gene a while back, then fell off the dolly wagon for a few months. I'm back now and have done some more exploring of the MK sculpts - much to the detriment of me trying to save money for a move and not dolls! Ahh, the tale as old as time...

      Really loving Gene and Francis and Lillian and Ophelia and... uh oh...

    10. I just ordered a Mystic Kids Gene from Junkyspot. They were having a sale and I am soooo looking forward to his arrival. Anyone want to give me advice on him? Like eye size and clothing? I'd really love to see picture of others Genes... I am completely excited.

    11. I don't have a Gene, but I do have a Mystic Kids Sean. He takes 14 mm eyes just fine, I assume Gene would be the same. They're also a few centimeters taller than typical msds; 45 ish cm instead of 40-41. I've had to add length in the legs to sewing patterns I've printed for msds to fit him. (About four inches, after seam allowance.)

    12. I have a Gene to share although she is a hybrid so I don't know about clothes, she has 12mm eyes, I prefer smaller eyes but 14mm might work.

      So my girl has an interesting history. I shared photos of her head when she came back from the faceup artist. I got the Gene head very cheap from ebay in a rather sad state and decided it would make a lovely girl. I started saving up for a body and as always happens ended up getting other dolls and having this poor floating head. A week ago I brought another doll to get the body for my Minifee and realized that the match is perfect for the Gene head. So I have a WS Gene head on a NS Dollzone body, I am so in love with this girl. Mystic Kids has lovely sculpts and I am so tempted to get another one, especially with the sale at Junkyspot.
      So finally here is my girl, Everly.

      His name is Rune. I really love the Gene sculpt, I find that he can be very expressive when taking photos. Oh! And yes, 14mm eyes work fine with him! I have other MysticKids MSD's (who came with 14mm eyes ) and they can all share.:)

    18. [​IMG]DSCN3918 by me, on Flickr Here is my guy Adam Leo Killian. He is wearing Mako 12mm eyes right know. The Eyeco eyes fit but they aren't what I am looking for... I ordered a pair of blue eyes and we shall see how they look. He poses great. I even had him standing on one foot.

      Rune is very handsome! I really love this sculpt. Thanks for sharing your guy. :)
