Niko- What's the good of finding such wonderful tutorials and things if one doesn't share them? I like to share what I know, a lot. ^-^ Maybe I'll give the wings a try again today...I rather want to, and feel I can 'spoil' myself a little today by giving myself some 'extra' doll time for a more 'intense' project. Of course, it'll depend on how my 22 month old is doing. He's sick today. If he stays mostly in bed, then I'll working on Dahlia's wings again. And so far, it looks like he pretty much wants to stay curled up in my bed, TV on, his 'Night Night' (blankie) tucked around him, and a bottle of juice in one hand. With Tylenol as needed for the minor fever he's running. It's easier to stop working on the wings and walk away if he needs something than it is to walk away in the middle of sewing or beading, or wig making, so it's the top of my 'if I can today' list.

Well...I'm waiting to hear back from a seller...but if she's still got her girl available, and the shipping charges aren't too much, I'll be getting my second Nabiyette! I'm REALLY hoping to get hold of her...Dahlia wants another friend to play with...and has possibly claimed my demon boy for herself, too...if she insists on the claim, I won't be moving him on like I was thinking of doing...instead he'll be getting some serious mods to look older (he's a BBB Elfkin) and a dye job, too. I shouldn't have had her out while I was cleaning him today. She insists that she loves a 'big' man, and just wants him to grow up a little.

Well rats! My timing the last couple of weeks just STINKS for second hand dolls! *laughs* The Nabiyette sold over the weekend to someone else. I hope we see her, and her owner in here, once she arrives to her new home! So...on to my next hope. A Sleepingelf Briar Rose. Here's hoping I get good news there! Then Dahlia will be VERY happy. She'll have a new friend, who is just as expressive a sculpt as she is, AND a new beau if this week's mods and dying of my Elfkin work out. I hope so, poor girl is getting lonesome! On a more on topic note, I'm hoping for some sunny weather this week to do a photoshoot idea I have with her! ^-^
It's been very sunny here in CA XD almost too sunny. Lottie will be attending a doll-meet this saturday, so I'll probably have some photos from that showing off how itty-bitty she is. She's got some 70cm men to meet x_x
Niko, I'm excited tooo! I've got the top/bodice done. I'm just trying to figure out how I want to do the bottom without the fabric fraying all over xDDD I get a tad worried over the mail sometimes too but it's just very very slow. I'm still waiting on my mnf body that was mailed to me on April 7th -_-;; Ayas, I hope for sunny weather too! I miss seeing pics of your pretty lil Dahlia (and her new friends eventually ^^ ) ~ Though it was raining, I opened the screen door and took some pictures in the somewhat cloudy and drizzly day we're having. The door was open but Miss Raezr stayed inside ^^;; Here is the pretty little dress Niko made me that I completely LOVE 8D Also, third times a charm for Raezr's faceup. I redid it and I think I did it a little better. :3 Plus I didn't overseal her like I did last time and she no longer looks like there's dirt all over her face orz. More pics will be on my deviant as usual ^^

Well, Dahlia will be getting a friend! I just paid for a Tinybear/Sleepingelf Moona in NS. ^-^ Hoping to start on her beau today or tomorrow, too. As well as the photos I want to do with her.
Ayas, 8DDD SO EXCITING!!!!!! I think the Moona is a good size with Nabiyette They make a good pair! I can't wait to see what you do with the Elfkin, though. Those changes sound exciting xD ~~~ The weather has been pretty bad the last few days. Too windy to photograph the little one D: But I wanted to show you guys her haircut that I've been wanting to give her for awhile. xD I had to hold her because I couldn't get my camera to pick up the light anywhere on the table, or even the middle of the living room orz. So I held her up in the air xD Her bangs are fluffier than I would like, but I figure I can "train" it to lay the way I want it to over time. :3 I do like it still It's supposed to be spiky and edgy looking, so it works xD It's one of those cuts where she can smooth it down or spike it out everywhere
Queedie2: Loving the new style for your girl's wig! She looks WAY cute with those bangs! I'm hoping off on modding my Elfkin for a bit...as I MIGHT be able to move him on, and get a red one instead. Part of my mods was dying him red...so if I can get hold of a red Elfkin to mod...well, so long as I like the color in person, it's one less step to do on him. Of course, I still have to dye his hooves to match either way. Because...well...I went through the trouble of finding them (Daisy Dayes Puki hooves) and modding them to fit flush at the knee (they are WAY skinny un-modded, looked like it was bone sticking down from his knees...interesting look, but not for him!) so dying them is the last step (aside from blushing and paint, heh) to getting them done. I REALLY hope to get that little red guy. If not...modding my pink one, then dying him and his hooveses. ^-^ Anyway...I need to work on some more clothes for Dahlia...I've got bits and pieces for her, but nothing finished yet. I also need to get some more tiny snaps, and some more tiny hooks and eyes...and just eyes (they work better than eyelets for things that need to be laced up as this size...or I think so anyway!) and get better at hand-sewn eyelets. They are a pain at MSD size, lol.
Queedie2: Ahhh! I LOVE that hair for her! And depending on what the wig is made of, you might be able to heat style it to get the bangs to stay down. Ayas-Shadow: Ooh, Moona fits wonderfully with Nabiyette! Congrats! And your modified elfkin sounds cooler and cooler every time you mention him XD I know he will be a lot of work, but when/if you work on him, let us know!

Just did a shoot with Dahlia! I'm uploading to Deviant Art now, and will spam an image as soon as I'm done! Her Little Ladyship seems to have decided that she does, indeed, like the original wig I bought for her! It got thrown on today to take her to a meet, as I didn't want to take her bald, but didn't want to deal with the tangles the wigs I made her currently have, and she seems to be telling me she's keeping it now! She's such a darling, DEMANDING little thing!
