Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. yay! I'm very much a fan of the 70+ dolls, but I have a 1:12 dollhouse that needs residents. So I'm going to both extremes - really big and really tiny. I bought raeonix's Nabyiette and she arrived today: she is a FEISTY little thing (I'm fairly certain her name is "Amok"). No pictures yet until I make some clothes and a wig for her, but she seems to enjoy being nekkid. I really can't wait to do a body blushing on her - I'm completely amazed by those delicate hands and feet!

      I did notice she's really kinda kicky, though after loosening her strings, she stands ok - I just can't pose her arms anything other than bent, and torso has to stay straight. Her body is so different than what I'm used to, I'm a bit stumped. Any suggestions?

    7. I also hot-glue sueded my nabiyettes legs so that she wasn't kicky anymore. It's worked wonders! But it was tough, and kind of scary getting the glue flat enough in there. Even though I was using a low-temp gun I was terrified of singing her resin.

      So THAT is your secret to miss Lottie's oh so modelesque poses hehehe sneaky!
      :o I haven't done anything to Raezr, but I often fight with her arms more than her legs. She likes to swing them around where ever she wants and sometimes they swirl around backwards in their joints. I figure I should mess with her stringing or just play with her more :o

    9. The arms are the biggest problem. I love my nabiyette, don't get me wrong, but oh man her arms can get crazy sometimes! I think Raesha had it right with pipe cleaners.

    10. Ok, I gave Amok a body blushing and restrung her with pipe cleaners. Much better :) I even painted her tiny fingernails in a natural style, but it's really hard to see with the naked eye, much less with an iPhone camera!

      She doesn't have any clothes yet, but she doesn't seem to mind:

      I agree, my lil Nabiyette shot up to the top of the favs list the day she got here hehehehe. All dolls have their quirks. Ours just happens to be crazy robot dance arms xDDD

    17. *laughs* I'll get photos of them together, as soon as I figure out a wig for Moona. She came with two...one is too big, the other smaller than I like. Also need to find m ear plugs, and my elastics, to re-string her and put her eyes back in. The green 'putty' took me over an our to get out of her head. HATE that stuff...BBB used to use it a lot, and it's just nasty. But as soon as she's a little more together, I'll be getting photos of them together to finish out the box opening, so I can post it. ^-^

    19. So I have the new girl all re-strung, except for her head. It's currently wrapped in plastic wrap in it's drying lambskin wig in hopes that the skin will shrink enough as it dries to actually FIT her, as right now it's too deep and too big around, only by a little, but by just enough to drive me batty. Anyone have any idea how long I'll need to leave the head and wig alone? It's driving me nuts already, wanting to put her head back on. lol.

      Gonna tighten Dahlia and wire her with pipe cleaners tonight, too...decide if I want to totally re-string her or not after I've tightened her. Hoping she takes the wiring better than the Moona did...got them in her legs OK, but could NOT get them into her arms...wouldn't go through the shoulders at all, since the stringing channel has a bit of a curve there. Heh.

      Anyway...off to work on Dahlia, so that they're both all ready for their photos once Moona's wig is dry (and hopefully adequately shrunk!) and I've enhanced her like I want to. ^-^
