Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       and I've been extremely unmotivated with it, which is not good at all >>;
      I made two simple dresses to go on over the ballerina dress, so it's very versatile!
      I need to iron them though, they're all over the place xD

    2. My girl is getting a new pet! I picked up 2 tiny horses at the dollar store...turns out they're about 1-2cm too short for Dahlia to ride...but I'm going to do some pretty beaded stuff for them, and give them wings, and 1 will be her pet, the other will belong to my Moona who STILL won't tell me her name. Maybe I need to spend more time with her. Anyway...I'm rather excited about this little project...but have 3 big ones to finish first...but I HAD to share!

    4. Queedie: It is VERY tempting! But I want her to be named after a flower, like Dahlia...so I'm seriously starting to think she might be a 'Goldenrod' or something...need to research yellow and orange flowers.

      Also in yellow: mums, snapdragons, ranunculus, solidago, statice, alstromeria, callas, lilies, carnations, freesia, hibiscus, orchids, iris, gerbera, gladiolus, marigolds, calendula, crocus, cockscomb, kalanchoe....and lots more. >.< Yellow is probably the most common flower color. :3

      Marigold would make a good name and are quintessentially yellow/orange.

    7. Yeah...I know there are a LOT of yellow flowers...and a fairly large number of orange ones, too! That's part of what makes it so darned hard to find the right name for her! She's all yellows, golds, and oranges! Dahlia was SO much easier, being all purples, blues, and pinks.

      And...their horses are coming along splendidly! As soon as the glue dries, their wings will be perfect! Then I'll just have some decoration to make for them. For their size compared to Dahlia, the horses shoulders are about as high as her waist. The heads are just shy of reaching her shoulders. Dahlia's is a dappled grey, with white face, mane, and tail. The other horse is a nice brown with black 'gloves' down to the hooves, a white stripe down it's nose, and a white mane and tail. Though that one can't currently stand on it's own, 1 leg is just a tiny bit too short. Dunno how I'm going to deal with that yet, just that I will. ^-^ I can't wait to finish them and do a photoshoot of the girls with them!

    16. I may or may not be joining you in having my little nabiyette in face-up land. I'm waiting for a reply from a friend/artist to see if he can paint such small faces, and if he's available to do so. And geez, anyone know of 6mm glass eyes that aren't $30? (as in a company or web page I can glance at, following the rules here! :D) I mean, I'll probably pay that amount to get Lottie some nice glass eyes if I HAVE to, but yikes. And she has 8mm default, right? I think I'd prefer 6mm, if anyone has tried that size I'd like to see a photo.

    17. YES I do. I bought a pair of 6mm glass eyes from doll eyes here on DoA.
      They have a store in the thread called Captured in Glass.
      They are still being made, but they were about $12 plus the shipping.

      I thought exactly what you are thinking. Her default is 8mm and they're too big.
      xD I got a pair of 6mm acrylics for her too, but I got them after I sent her away for her faceup, so I dunno how they look on her. BUT both the glass eyes and acrylic I got are green ^_____^ <3
      As soon as I get her back, you bet I'll be photo spamming both eyes! <3

    20. I'm actually going with a novice face-up artist, although he's not really new to it. He's building his portfolio, so it's free! I've seen videos of his work, but I'm going to ask for photos next, just to be sure. :) All we've communicated so far is that he was still doing work for free and that yes he will paint teeny tiny dolls as well. Lol! So now it's time to get into detail about what I want done, blah blah blah. Come to think of it, All of my dolls have either been given free face-ups to help build friends' portfolios or I've done them myself. I'm not worried about him messing her up because I really like his work (he's better than me, so what's the risk?) and also if for some reason I don't like it I can always clean her up and do it myself or PAY someone, lol. I'll link photos of his work here if I can, or if you're curious I can just send you a PM.
