1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

NABIYETTE fairy - 5.5cm

Sep 18, 2010

1. Nikopiko,
aaah thanks for sharing about the shoes. <A< Rae is still barefoot after all this time lol XDDD
I have her wearing a MH skirt <3 <3 it's a bit loose, but I made a high-waisted skirt to go underneath it so it has this cool double layered look thing. I like it <3 <3 You should see what of your MH stuff fits ^^ I'm curious to knooow ; U ;

Ayas,
I forgot to ask in my last post; Where do you find MH patterns??

2. You can find some (both free, and low cost) linked here: http://plasticcurves.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=resources&action=display&thread=21 It's a MH forum, but you don't need an account to view the thread, I don't think. Beyond that...you can find some for sale on etsy with a search. All in all, they're hard to find, though.

For patterns...if I ever get over my 'if I'm not using a pre-made pattern then I pin and drape everything to get the look I want, then cut and sew' issues, and start actually making patterns, I'll be sure to share whatever I come up with for Nabiyette!

And I know I'm now double posting...but I keep meaning to say, and then forgetting, just how much I LOVE this girl's lovely new face-up! She's looking positively fantastic!

3. nikopiko: Thank you so much for the shoe link. I've been trying to figure out what would fit her feet. I was afraid to buy some because I feared they wouldn't fit and I would be wasting money. Of course, I didn't think about it until now, that I could just re-sell them in the Marketplace if I wasn't satisfied with the fit.
Ayas-Shadow: Luna thanks you for the compliment and I thank you for the link. Can't wait to see new pictures of Dahlia.

4. I have more patterns i have made. I will try to get them posted this weekend.

5. Ambshp, I love Luna's face up she looks wonderful. Luna is going to love having another playmate you must be excited? I am sure Clementine won't want to be on her own either to look after the little imps when they come.
Ayas-Shadow, Thank you for your kind comments, Clementine is a light tan.
Nikopiko, Thank for the shoe link I am very bad as poor Clementine hasn't any extra clothes or shoes yet so I had better hurray up and get some!

6. Just ordered one of these pretty Nabiyette ladies for my big brother. Can't wait to see him open her! He's building her a nice house fit for a Wilder Elf. It's so nice to have someone to play dolly with.

7. Coffeehouse how great you are getting a Nabiyette for your brother and that you both enjoy the same hobby.:)

8. Hi all. I am the brother that CoffeyHouse mentioned two posts up. I am finding it very hard to believe I am this excited about getting a doll lol. For reference, I am 6'4", 240 pounds, ex-Army Ranger, ride a Harley, etc... and here I am wishing time would move faster so my little elf girl dollie will hurry up and get here. I have already made her a history, given her the name Nesti (that is subject to change I know from many many years of picking out a pet's name then taking one look at them and saying, "Nope. That'll never do."

I have decided she is a race of barbarian elves known as the Kagonesti which are from the Dragonlance setting in Dungeons & Dragons. I am making and modifying a Victorian Dollhouse kit to be something more suitable for a forest-loving Wilder Elf.

I have been reading through not only this forum but quite a few of the others and want to that this is by far the most informative site about dolls in general and the absolute BEST for bjds! Everyone is friendly and helpful and that is a hard thing to find on the internet these days.

My avatar is the pic of the actual Nabiyette I am getting. My sister said she received an email that says this one is the LAST one. No more are going to be made. Makes me feel all special that I am being trusted with the last of the line. I promise, this little elf will never want for nothing!

9. Hi Zainan so pleased you are getting your Nabiyette Nesti she looks great in your avatar and it sounds like she is going to have a very special home. You will need to add more Kagonesti Elves to keep her company. :)Hope you will post photo's of her when she arrives. I hate the waiting I know what its like. BJD dolls is a new hobby for me and although I have collected other dolls for many years my partner is taking a real interest in the ones I am buying now and he is talking about making a tree house, furniture ect and today said he wouldn't mind one for his birthday. :) Anyway great to see you here and Nesti sounds like she is going to be one very spoilt elf.

10. Thank you for the welcome. I was right about her name changing. I originally went with Nesti for lack of a better idea and it being the last part of Kagonesti which is the race of elves I am giving her. Her permanent name will be Sivestre which is Latin for rustic or wild. She was shipped today so hopefully by Friday or Saturday I will have her in my greedy little paws lol.

Richila I have been studying that thread lol. So far I have the windows done, and the frame put together and painted. Just waiting for the paint to dry before I dry fit the roof and start in with the knick-nacks to make it my own. Thank you though!

Bust 7 / 6

Hips 7.5 / 6.5
Arms 4 / 3.5
legs 8.5 / 5.5
There are lots of patterns that make up an entire wardrobe.

12. Thanks for that link! Totally saving the patterns to mess with in the future!

13. She is almost here! According to USPS.com she was processed through our regional sorting facility ad shipped out last night at 12:02 am. She should be here at my local post office this morning. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I almost have her house done for her too. Everything is finished except the shingles and I still have about 1/3 of them left. After they are done then comes the part I have been looking forward to. Decorating it inside and out to resemble a cottage you would find in a fantasy forest instead of the stock house that comes out of the box. Maybe I can get Silvestre to help...

14. Zainan - I love seeing tiny dolls in dollhouses - please share photos when you can!! :)

15. Is Silvestre home yet?

16. Sigh no. She left the regional sorting facility at 12:02 am on the 21st. That is just a shade under three hours from my house. Here it is almost 48 hours later and still no Silvestre. I do not get impatient about anything. What will come will come and will be will be. HOWEVER I am getting really impatient for her! I have all of these craft ideas running through my head and can't do anything until I have her. Buckskins, furniture, knit/crochet items, landscaping around her new abode, etc. I could do all of it but I would rather have her to make sure it is in scale with her. For example: I made a wood stove for her kitchen. After sculpting, painting, weathering, etc I got to looking at it in comparison to a Kelly doll I have. Knowing that Silvestre is an inch taller +/- it dawned on me that my stove, in real life, would only be about 1 3/4 feet tall. So, it got chunked and I am now waiting for my girl before I start another.

17. awww D: I hope Silvestre comes home soon!!

18. Woo-Hoo she is here! She is absolutely perfect! I love her little pouty lips, tiny elf ears, and the details! Fingernails. I wouldn't have thought it possible on a doll this size. They are going to have to be painted. First though I need to learn about sueding. (Other than knowing the name of the process and what it is for I know nothing else about it.) The least little touch and she goes fetal. Her joints are extremely touchy. Is this common for Nabiyettes? Now that she is here I can finish the rest of her house. Flooring, wall covers, touching up the paint on the outside, and making a landscape around it. Here is a pic of her in the living room. Some of her adventuring equipment and weapons are on and around the table. She can't wait to get out of her homecoming dress and back into her comfortable buckskins.

19. Use small white pipe cleaners to wire her arms and legs. It does WONDERS for her posing! For both wiring and sueding, you can find tutorials in the customization area. Both are really pretty easy to do.
