1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

NABIYETTE fairy - 5.5cm

Sep 18, 2010

    1. He is pukipuki. I think width-wise she will fit pukipuki clothes, but she is definitely taller than him (which is so cute!). As for shoes, I have her in some blythe or 1/6 dollfie shoes from mimiwoo.com, but they are a teeny tiny bit too big. I have not tried puki shoes because that puki boy only has magnetic feet/shoes, lol! And I don't know anyone else with a pukipuki. I think her feet might be too long for pukipuki shoes. I LOVE Nabiyette's ears. The down-turned tips are just adorable!

Aaaaaaand here's a photo I managed to steal away with while my friend Bats was setting up a photo story for these two :D

Nabiyette can pose SO well! And with a little eye putty can hold adorable props! Take a peek!

    2. Nabiyette is absolutely precious!! I love her delicate hands, ears, and her little pout. :)
      I wish I could get one ^^ <3

    3. I love the size of this doll, but does anybody know if they intend to do any more head sculpts for this size - one that's actually smiling, for instance?

    4. Teddy I asked a little while ago, It's not going to happen soon but she might perhaps create a tiny version of her doll Nabi Kiss. Also, the tinybear tinies can head swap with Nabiyette. So you'd have your choice of the Mina, Moona or Bracken heads. :) They are cast in the same resin so they will match!

    5. I finally have a quick shot of Dahlia Nightshade to share! She's still a WIP, but I wanted to share a photo anyway!

She's in the lilac resin. I made her eyes, enhanced her face-up, did some body painting on her, and made her wig. The wig is my first try at a yarn wig. She will eventually get a few more, when I have more time to work on them. Just like she'll get clothes as soon as I have a chance to make her some!

    6. Aya-shadow:Those are some gorgeous colors of purple on her wig! If you didn't tell me it's made of yarn, I would have guessed it as faux fur. Love her body paint too..so creative!

      Teddy:
Sorry, I don't have plan on making a smiley one, but maybe I can do a smiley faceup on one of the Nabiyettes and see how she'll turn out. :)

    7. OK...after checking here...and my e-mail...Either I made a SERIOUS typo in her name, or she is telling me she wants to change it! I named her Dahlia FOXGLOVE...but I keep typing Dahlia Nightshade...Nightshade is the name of my little BBB Elfkin...I guess that her name is now Dahlia Nightshade Foxglove...Dahlia Foxglove Nightshade...one of the two...lol. She goes by Dahlia, or Lady Dahlia, normally...Oh what the heck! Dahlia Foxglove Nightshade. Afterall, how often are middle names used anyway? Only in FULL full name introductions will my insistence that Foxglove be part of name matter. Unless I decide to drop it between now and when she's 'finished'. Heh.

To the yarn wigs...it really depends on the type of yarn, and what you do with it. The yarn I chose for her isn't a normal 'ply' yarn, with long ply that are twisted together to un-twist (which gives a very braided or longer African hair feel to me when un twisted like that) Instead hers is all individual fibers that are twisted into one loose ply, with a black thread twisted around that to keep it all in shape. Originally, I tried melting the ends of each section of yarn to keep the yarn shape (which looked like thick dreadlocks against her face) but it was SO THICK when I finished, I decided to cut off the very end pieces, and comb everything out to thin and shorten it all...the wig as is now is a little shorter than it was before, and not nearly as thick! but it's still this big huge PUFF, which I do like. I'm going to give her a few more, though, in varying thicknesses and styles. At least 2 will be left looking more like dreads, but I think I'll use some form of glue to help keep them from unraveling. We'll see how they all turn out!

I do just adore this little girl! By the time I'm done with her, she'll be one of my most spoiled!

    8. Ayas-Shadow WOW!!! I LOVE her! I think it's wonderful that such a tiny girl has such a huge presence. The body painting is so delicate and lovely, and that hair color/style is so cool! I love her full name "Dahlia Foxglove Nightshade"!

    9. Well,, Miss Dahlia Nightshade Foxglove's wig is gorgeous combed out like that.
