Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I've checked again and the website also doesn't seem to have updated. Maybe if you email using the address listed in the Contact section Bimong might be able to make an order?

    3. Hi there, long time lurker, soon- to-be owner of an older 60 cm Narae. I checked measurements in the wiki and she has a smaller bust and waist than most SDs. Which brands fits these gals?
       
    4. when I've had narae60 in the past (I have one currently but I never unpacked my doll clothes lol), they just wore SD13 clothes. They're not particularly small. If anything she felt a bit bigger than most of my newer brand girls.
      Shoes are a mess though and I haven't figured that one out. They are wider than most girls of the same height, but not long enough for boy shoes.

    5. Thanks @sahoma. Your gal is so sweet. I appreciate you sharing some photos and info on clothes. Iโ€™m glad to hear she will fit clothing I have on hand while we get to know each other. I have to admit that shoes are usually the last items I get for my crew. They run around barefoot. :)
       
    6. Has anyone received their order for a large Narae or Narin? I know Bimong has posted on Instagram, but I have not heard anything about my order and it is now over 2 years. Any news?
       
    7. I have one on order also. He has apologized for the time this long delay. He has posted several progress updates on Instagram. I think he got far more orders than he expected in the final order period.

    8. @nancy_schroeder_ca - ( raises a glass to a fellow long term order ) you are absolutely correct, and I didn't word my post to reflect that he has indeed don as you say. Also, I believe I might have seen a Narin that someone had delivered recently but can't put my finger on where and when. My guy is in tan and I think that resin tends to come last in the pecking order. Just feeling a bit down about the long wait and moving completion time. Bit scared it's having a negative effect on my bonding with Narin already...maybe I haven't drunk enough mead on this Winter's Solstice! *wanders off to warm more mead and light another candle*

    10. I got my boy. I ordered Narin68 Grey full doll in January 2023 (well before Bimong's retirement preorder), and received him November 2024 - 1year 10months of waiting. I don't know if anyone else has received their 1/3 dolls - at least, no one has shared about it in the Bimong Waiting Room thread yet.

      This is my box opening thread. I also wrote up my whole experience with this lengthy preorder on my doll blog - the post is here.

      Doll tax ... Narin Grey is in black, with my other 68cm boy in white (Vings Seira).

    11. @StrontiumDog (and maybe @nancy_schroeder_ca too) --

      It looks like you ordered your Narin earlier than me. I'm concerned that you haven't received your doll yet. Not because Bimong is dishonest (I'm confident that he's an honest operator and 100% means to deliver his goods), but because in my experience, he is not good at keeping deadlines: the deadlines he gave me were always getting delayed later and later, but I saw no sign of substantive action being taken on my order. I was not too happy that he opened his retirement preorder without having actioned on my own doll, and even more so when he started shipping 1/4 Naraes which were, ostensibly (I can't confirm this), ordered during that preorder -- while I had been waiting for much longer with nothing to show. And the timeframes on the retirement preorder have been constantly being pushed back too.

      I eventually pressed Bimong for accountability and did it pretty hard over a few months, and I'm pretty sure this contributed in me getting my Narin in the end.

      Please read my blog post (linked above) about my experience with my Narin -- it's a very long read but it documents thoroughly my actions taken over my almost 2 years of waiting. As unpleasant as it is (and I found it very unpleasant to do :( and I completely sympathize with Bimong being overwhelmed with doll orders), you may have to actively press Bimong for accountability on your doll. You ordered before his retirement announcement. 2 years is too long to wait and I'd say it's an unacceptable delay.

      Well I have asked for full refund...with a very heavy heart, for a few reasons, but I just think it's for the best:pout::sorry:atremblin
       
    13. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm really hoping I won't have to wait that long for my Grey. He seemed to have been moving on it recently, but I can imagine it'll take a few more months despite the promises and... well, we're already past the year mark lol. I'm not sure when I should start pressing him. I ordered 4 dolls for his retirement and have only received one.

      @StrontiumDog I ordered my Narin in tan as well. With jointed hands, which I'm terrified will make the wait too long. I'm so sorry you had to ask for a refund :(

I'm so sorry to hear that you're not continuing with your order after all that investment of time and money :( But I completely understand... the wait is grinding and disheartening. I was very worried myself that my wait would tarnish my bonding with Narin, and I'm incredibly relieved that it hasn't. The longer I waited the more I wanted him, so perhaps that helped. I'm really sorry your order has ended like this, I hope it's for the best...


      @Littlebirdzoom You're welcome. I was able to make the case to Bimong that I ordered before the retirement preorder, but I'm not sure what levers can be used if you bought during it. I think one way to go about it is to keep showing up in his DMs, ask for concrete deadlines, then actually check in and ask for progress report when that deadline rolls around - basically the accountability cycle. That's what I did.
      I don't know how Bimong is prioritizing the order in which he assembles dolls. I was under the impression he was doing it chronologically (he said so in an IG post), but since StrontiumDog bought before me and their order wasn't fulfilled, I'm unsure now. You may have to take matters into your own hands sooner or later. :pout:
       
    15. Bimong has replied and said that the casters are working hard on orders. If my order doesn't ship next month I will be refunded.
      hmmmm.....part of me feels that I should just cancel, get refunded and be done. Part of me says it's just another month, so wait a little bit more....:roll: and still another part of my wants to see if I could get a Narae58 ( cos that's actually what I truly wanted but couldn't afford at the time of the retirement order was announced)
      @aihre - your boys look super cool and I like their tall slender style. You are right that it is a shame to stop the order after all this time and I have reflected on that fact. I completely understand why there has been such a delay, but it's proving so disheartening.
      @Littlebirdzoom - I do believe that the orders will be fulfilled.:thumbup It's just the wait and moving deadline that has gotten to me.
       
    16. @StrontiumDog I don't have a horse in this race, but I would say that at this point you should just endure this extra month. Given Vega's experience I'd have faith that Bimong will ship the dolls soon, and stay true to his word and refund you if he fails to meet the deadline.
       
    17. @StrontiumDog I agree with lutke, I encourage you to give it one more month (what's one more after 24 already?) - but you must check in with Bimong throughout. He gave me the same agreement, but I didn't trust him to keep his own deadlines, so I held him very tightly accountable and kept asking for evidence (ie. confirm that those are photos of MY doll), and in the end, he came through. Don't let him off the hook - you have to obtain evidence of progress. If he doesn't come through for you after that month is over, then you can reconsider whether to walk away. But it's fair and I understand if you want to immediately walk away and be free from this unfinished business. There's that saying "better a bird in hand than two in a bush" -- if you're unable bear anymore risk and/or disappointment of further delay and unfulfilled deadlines, then it's better to get a refund now.

      And thanks, I'm very fond of these two boys. I'm glad Narin has come together so well.
