Narae/MNF/Unoa slim mini shoe thread

Mar 21, 2008

1. Thank you Letizia! I was couraged and finally got white boots for my girl <3 These are those Brava Bambi shoes in white.

2. D:
but can she stand with them?
i've heard that the dolls lean foward and that was helpless...

3. 2079Realms also sells the Dark Blue brand for inexpensively. Unfortunately they are a whole sale store so you have to buy at least 10 of the same shoe.

4. Ouch! Those ARE good prices. Now I know just how much over I'm paying. *cries*

5. So, are all the Kon'd/Kondoll shoes Dark Blue? If so that's fantastic and KiraKira thank you for the image! :D

And does anyone have images of an MNF in Dollheart shoes?

6. If you're asking about my shoes, she can stand in them on her own. It takes a _lot_ of careful positioning though and the result might in some cases look awkward. If she were to just stand with her feet close together she'd lean and topple over. She either has to stand feet wide apart or one foot in more in the back and the front leg's knee slightly bent.

7. Here's some pics from my minifee

Alice Colletion 1/4 side SH322 Blue

Fit Minifee well even has some gap on the back.

a gap which hard to notice. Minifee can stand on them very well.

This's Leeke World Shoe LS-080_M Black which too loose.
Even minifee can stand on them well but way too loose. (for my opinion)
But it's depend on LeekeWorld style. My suggest is better check for the side that not bigger than 6-6.3cm.

Leeke World Shoe LS-024_M White which not loose but too big.
It's take a lot of times to make Minifee standing on this boots.
Yes, she can stand on her own... but not stable at all. Better on sit position.

If you're looking for rain boots, this might be fine.

8. I bought a Minifee and asked a friend for a recommendation as to where to buy shoes. He recommended
http://www.facetsbymarcia.com, and named three lines: Dale Rae, Kingstate, and Monique Gold collection. I ordered some from each line, and received the order very quickly (the shoes are made in China but stocked in the US, so there is generally no waiting).

The Dale Rae and Kingstate fit perfectly, but I couldn't get my Minifee's feet into the Monical Gold shoes -- I was afraid to force them for fear of breaking them. I ask my friend about this and he just interchanged his Minifee's stockings for mine. My Minifee's foot was still a tight fit, but no blisters or fear of fracture. The stockings were from
eBay.com/shop/PlumeBlanche. The owner is in France, and is on Den of Angels and Materiel Celeste as Teteloune. She deals internationally, speaks English, and gives very rapid service. If you have a French back account, she will take a French check so that you don't have to pay PayPal fees. The prices are good, the fit is excellent, and the pattens divine.

Unfortunately, None of these shoes are boots or even lace-up. A buckle here and there and heels, heels, heels!
FacetsByMarcia.com also stocks shoes for most American dolls, and a fantastic selection of wigs, also stocked in the US.

9. Have anyone tried shoes from Sunny's Wonderful World on their MNF?
I'm particular looking at this shoes but they don't list the widht (and the lenght might be a bit too long too)

10. When I had a Unoa Sist, I bought some Ajamapama boots. They were ordered specifically for Unoa, had Unoa written on the labels of the bags, but were WAY over-sized. They gave the effect of "little girl trying to walk in her daddy's boots." (Maybe that was the point!) On the other hand, they were definitely not made for an SD-size doll. I guess you can get away with stuffing paper into a loose-fitting shoe, but an over-sized boot can look silly.

On the other hand, I had some tight-fitting boots (Leekes, maybe) that had laces on the front and a zipper on the back. They would have been impossible to put on without the zipper, but with the zipper and a little pushing they had a nice, tight fit -- kind of like my leather jacket after I finally get it zipped up! (Funny how much it has shrunk over the years...)

11. I have most of the Iplehouse JID girl shoes and they do fit the MNF quite well; however, as was already stated elsewhere, the tall boots are a little too tall for the shorter MNF girl legs.

The IH JID ankle boots are good on MNF, in fact, they are my favorite for fit, scale, and style.

Shelia is modeling these IH JID boots.

Close up of the fit on MNF which shows they are not gappy around the top. The pantyhose Shelia is wearing with these boots are thin strech mesh so they are not taking up that much space.

12. Does anyone know if these, or any other shoes from tatabjd fit minifees?

13. I got some Luts KD boots (http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=1155)for my incoming Soomian, but tried them on my Unoa as well in case anyone's interested.

They are loose on the ankle bot don't gape around the calf. These have a bit of a heel but she can stand in them well (just couldn't get a non-craptastic piture of it). She stands better in these than in the Bambi boots I actually have for her.

14. OMG !!!!
These Nine9style default Lucy Western boots really do fit Unoa and MNF properly, are in scale, and both dolls can “free stand” in them like champs.

All of the following pictures are of the dolls "free standing" by themselves, unassisted, wearing these boots.

Unoa Q standing straight

Unoa Q standing feet apart

MNF standing with one leg bent. Sadly this picture came out blurry but you can at least see the standing pose.

I am thrilled with these boots and hope that Nine9style can be persuaded to make more boots that will also fit Unoa and MNF.

Outfit info:

My 1.5 Unoa Q, Vivian, is wearing Nine9style MSD girl jacket and Nine9style MSD boy skinny jeans.

My MNF, Shelia is wearing this pair of TTYA MSD Jeans.

15. Although the Nine9style Ankle booties are acceptable for scale on Unoa and they do fit on her feet, I cannot recommend them.

The combination of the heel height and the tilt forward direction of the boot top will tip her completely off balance for being able to “free stand” unassisted in them.

Here is a comparison picture of the Western boots that are super for "free standing” with Unoa and these Ankle boots which are not.

It took a lot of patience to get Vivienne to stand in these boots and she was not stable in any of the positions that I accomplished. What standing positions I did get her to do wearing them were not attractive and natural looking.

Since I do not chance a nose dive and wrecking my doll’s face up, I do not continue to buy and utilize footwear that will not allow my Unoa to "free stand"’ unassisted in the item.

Minfee dolls do a little better in these boots for standing stably ability; however, the width is wide for scale so they make for a chunkier look on these girls.

These boots are a TIGHT fit on My Volks MSD girl. The scale is perfect for her and she stands very well in them.

16. I have been going through this thread, and I have found that I really like the Leeke shoes and I would like to get a pair or two for my incoming MiniFee. However, I am very confused with the measurements listed on the Leeke site. Are the measurements given the outside measurement of the shoe? I'm wondering why people are buying the M size shoes when the D size shoes look like they will fit better on MiniFee feet for some of the shoes. For example these shoes:

http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=813&B_catalog_num=29

The M size is 6.5cm long and the D size is 6mm long. MiniFee feet are 5.5cm, so I would think I would need the D size? And these:

http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=1457&B_catalog_num=29

8cm will be much too long for MiniFees, so will I want the D size? Or will those still be too big? Here are some of the other shoes I'm looking at. Maybe someone has bought these and can tell me if they fit MiniFees? Thanks!

17. I think you are correct about the leeke shoes, that D would fit best. I have really been tempted to get some. The M shoes are for MSD dolls, which have much larger feet and definetly be too large.

But do check out Dale Rae shoes which are so much like the ones you have chosen there. And they are half the price! They also fit MNF Unoa etc... http://www.dalerae.com/BJDMSDDaleRaeshoes.htm

Those Dale Rae shoes, though they're called MSD, are too small for MSD dolls. As you can see on their web page, they advertise that the shoes fit MNF, Unoa, Narae, etc... and don't list any volks or Dollmore MSD's

18. Thank so much IngieBee! I did look at the Dale Rae shoes, but there is just something about the Leeke shoes. I keep going back to them. They look more detailed and higher quality.

Would you know if MiniFees can stand up in high heel shoes, or are they more just for looks?

Also, what is the width of a MiniFee foot?

19. the leeke measurements are not accurate in my experience. sadly, the two pairs of shoes i've bought for my dolls that were supposed to fit mnf according to their site fit regular msd (m sized) and yo (d sized).

20. They can stand up in them, but the feet don't always look 100% right, but then sometimes it works well, depends on how natural a pose you get, how talented you are, LOL. But I find MNF have a good ankle for them.

I agree, the leeke shoes are beautiful, but sounds like ya gotta be careful. I wish someone who can use them for a yo if they didn't fit, could try it out....?
