1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Narae/MNF/Unoa slim mini shoe thread

Mar 21, 2008

    1. Awesome! I love these shoes and was hoping they'd fit my JID!

    2. Hey all, I just got my new minifee and most of her shoes don't fit. :( I was looking for new shoes for her that aren't huge or incredibly expensive and stumbled upon these two: flats and sneakers. I know at the start of the thread the sneakers were said to fit on what looks like an unoa, but should they be okay for a minifee? Thanks!

    3. I got the chance to try on Cherish dolls' (http://www.cherishdoll.us/ it's the 1.8~2.2 inch size) shoes on my Unoa and they fit perfectly! Now I got Mary Janes for my doll :)

    4. Shara That's wonderful news! I've always wanted Cherishdoll shoes! :D

    5. Shara thank you so much for that link! :D

    6. Shara thank you so much, I always wanted Mary Janes for my girls :D

    7. Thanks to all who have contributed to this~!

    8. Dale Rae shoes fit Minifees perfectly, but unless there has been a change recently, Dale Rae will not be importing any more BJD shoes, and will sell off the stock in hand. :(

This will create problems for Brennil customers who want modified Minifee shoes, because she can only mod Dale Rae shoes at this time. I told her about Cissy shoes from Facets by Marcia, and she is looking into them. :sweatThere are many Cissy shoes that would be perfect, though some of them have toes that are too pointy for my taste.:|

    9. Oh no -- I love Dale Rae shoes! Do you know why they're doing this? :...(

      -- A :/

    10. My guess is the market for shoes for American toy dolls is much bigger than for all BJDs put together, and that it was a pure business decision. That doesn't mean that someone else couldn't take over the line. If you want to go into the shoe business, why don't you give them a call?;)

    11. I actually know Dale... she is really nice... She used to be in a doll club I am in. She has moved away and I no longer have contact with her, but I'm sure she would be happy to talk with you about it.

      :)

    12. So does anyone have any updated sites that have Minifee size friendly shoes? :3

    13. I'm looking for high heeled shoes that will fit the minifee heeled feet..

Le Tama posted a lovely picture of two of his minifee with heels on that are super cute. He does say what shoes they are, and that they are hard to get on.. I found them on ebay, but haven't purchased any yet. I didn't think to ask him if his girls can stand in them or not.

You can see what he posted here!

    14. Seeing the name "Tonner American Model" made me automatically go to facetsbymarcia.com, source of the Cissy-size shoe that fits a Minifee normal foot like a glove. Sure enough, Marcia has the same shoes in the Tonner American Model size as in the Cissy size.

Fairyland gives the length of the Normal foot as 5.5 cm, but gives no figures on the width or size of the high-heel feet. I will use my own measurements instead.

      Normal foot length: 54 mm
      Maximum width: 22 mm

      Hi-heel foot length: 49 mm
      Hi-heel foot width: 21 mm

NFL - HHF length is 5 mm
NFL - HHF max width is 1 mm

According Marcia, these shoes are usually 2-4 mm longer than the length of the doll's foot. However all of the fashion shoes in question are pointy toed. Since we are comparing comparable models of shoe, only the size difference matters.

Shoes for Cissy (perfect fit): 64mm long / 25mm wide
Desired perfect dimensions for HH shoe: 59 mm long / 24 mm wide

Shoes for Tonner American Models (closest fit): 62mm long / 18mm wide

So we have come 2 mm closer with the length, but 3 mm further with respect to the width. No wonder La Tama said that it is a tight fit! Unfortunately, all other fashion dolls have feet 18 mm wide or less. Fortunately, Cissy has unfashionable feet.

I am not ready to give up. If the shoe won't fit the feet, then the feet will have to fit the shoe. I have ordered a pair of American Model "Sitting Pretty" shoes, and will ask my "Doll Vinci" take her Dremel to the HH feet. What's 3 mm of resin to a Dremel, after all?

    15. Shoes by Dale Rae will fit Narae and Unoa. I know, because I have them. Too bad she is not selling the shoes anymore, I sure hope someone else will. I always thought her little shoes are cute. Also, Realresin - I am not sure if I spelled this correctly - on eBay has really cute shoes, that will fit Unoa and Narae.

Sorry, I did spell the name wrong, I just checked again. It's spelled releaserin. Anyway, they do have really cute shoes and ship fast. I ordered from them a few times now, and never had a problem.

    16. Here are a pair of Leeke World shoes that I picked up at LDoll last year. Leeke had a huge booth, with lots of shoes and very helpful English-speaking clerks. It still took some time to find shoes that fit regular MNF feet, and no boots, alas...

    17. Thanks for the tip! I just ordered a pair from her, I hope they hold up to my expectations. :3

    18. You made me laugh!

Ok, well, I assumed that Iplehouse JID feet were the same size as all the other slim mini, and when I compare them to my minifee, ResinSoul and Soul kid feet (double jointed mature body), they are, but who knows about the new high heeled feet? They may not be.... Anyway - since this is the slim minis shoe thread, I have new shoes to show off!

First is a pair of American Model bootie like things. Very cute, but the feet don't go all the way down, no toes to fill the open end, but they still look cute:

And then these closed toe shoes, also American Model:

      Please ignore the dust :doh

    19. Hi guys!
I've found some really nice boots here in Releaserain's shop. They are made for 14" Kish doll and the inner measurements are 5.6 cm in length and 2.2 cm in width.

Do you think this would be a too tight fit on a Minifee?
Have any of you tried Kish or Tonner shoes on your girls?

I would love to find some boots that are really nice and tight, but this might be a little too much. ^^
