Narae/MNF/Unoa slim mini shoe thread

Mar 21, 2008

    1. IngieBee, I have that brand but in different styles--the Mary Jane and the tall boots (both are for the slimmer msd foot) --both fit snugly and look nice. I haven't tried either with thicker socks as I don't have any. That's the only problem I can see with the brand is if you wanted to wear them with thick socks they may not fit. I'll try to get a pic taken soon.

Edit: The boots you're linking to don't say for slim feet but the measurements are the same as for the tall boots I bought that say for msd with "thin feet". The Mary Janes I bought were these only in 1/4 size.

    2. Thanks so much! I'm in a group order that goes out in a few days and I'm thinking of requesting a few more shoes, LOL. I think she'll let me do it? :) Thanks for your help and of course I'll post when I get them :)

    3. hi i was wondering if any of you tried both the leekeworld D shoes and the M
i've bought some leekeworld msd shoes here on the marketplace but they're too big, a whole cm more in lenght
for now i've put some paper in it to make her able stand, but they're high heels and she isn't really stable in it

    4. I'd like to make a call for action for this thread. There aren't all that many examples of shoes here compared to what I've found available to buy, and most people who have posted here have linked to ebay auctions or other store inventory that no longer exists so there is no way to know what they were taking about. I myself have some shoes coming in and will definitely post pictures for everyone and critique their fit for you. If you own any shoes for your dolls (and I know you all do!!!) Please post them here, with a picture, what doll you have and how you like them, and we will have a MUCH more useful thread! Thanks :)

one more thing, if it's possible to change the name of this thread to the slim mini shoe thread, it would be more inclusive. My Iplehouse JID, MNF, Resin Soul and Bobobie feet are all the same size. So are Narae, Narin, Lati blue and Unoa apparently so it seems all slim minis wear the same size shoes within 1-2 mm. Or perhaps this should be a sticky thread?

ninive, I can't imagine any D type shoes fitting, the dolls are so small. They probably wear Yo size shoes? Which are at least 1/2cm smaller on the largest shoes than the slim minis, usually more like a whole cm smaller. The M size are MSD size and tend to be too wide as well as too long. length can be hidden but width looks bad on slim mini feet :) Sometimes boots will look a little chunky but cute still, just stuff them for a better fit. This is what I've learned from reading the past two years.

    5. IngieBee- I was feeling the same way, a lot of links are to old ebay auctions, which really don't help very much.
I recently bought a pair of Leekeworld shoes for my Narae, and they fit very well!
I'll try and post a critique here along with some pictures some time this weekend ^_^
      These are the ones: http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=817&B_catalog_num=29

    6. i have these: http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=840&B_catalog_num=29
      and these: http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=846&B_catalog_num=29

the white ones are a better fit, the black are too long and high in the front

this is how they look with paper inside

and this is without, they're so big they kept falling off when i've tried them on at first

and this is what i mean by saying they're too high, this was with paper on
      [IMG]

it seem that with leeke shoes the fit depend on the style...
      have someone tried these? http://www.leekeworld.com/En/Product/p_view.asp?it_code=785&B_catalog_num=29

    7. Well then, see impurecelestine? I just gave bad advice to ninive, 'caues I kept reading that Leeke shoes don't fit! Sorry ninive, maybe some will??

ninive, you linked to the boots I've been in love with for the past 3 years but have been afraid to get, LOL. Did you get those too? At least the pair you got, though I understand the high lip part, look pretty good on camera, so I think you could use them for photoshoots! I heard the boots pull the leg forward and make it hard to stand in... but they're so gorgeous!

    8. in fact i love those boots too, and they will be perfect for the style i'm looking for
but i'm afraid as well... no i don't have them, only those two pumps like shoes

with paper they fit almost ok
the problem is that they made her feet look huge

    9. I'm now planning on a dollmore kid, which has MSD style feet because Dollmore has such beautiful outfits but most don't fit slim minis right and, well, due to that, I looked at the kids (after avoiding them for years litterally not looking at them, just clothes, not looking at them in clothes, LOL) I fell in love with one and my daughter loves one, so we'll get them in the near future I think. Anyway, it will make buying shoes less risky because I'll know I can use them at least on the one doll (er... daughter's as well, LOL)

Ok, here is a review worth mentioning I think :) Teen Trends, first their clothes fit rather well, but their shoes sometimes are quite nice. These I got with one of their outfits, and you might find them available on their own:

They are plastic but the fit is excellent and look is great too! In photos, you can't tell they're plastic, IMO

Also, another pair of Teen Trends shoes are very stylish, but again plastic. They barely squeeze on to my Minifee's feet, gotta really peel them hard and slowly work them back off. But from most angles they look pretty cool. The back has an open cut to get them on n off, but on the minifee, they are quite wide. Sorry, I thought I had a better picture of the shoes, but here they are with the outfit they came with:

I'll try to add to this post with better pictures of all the Teen Trend shoes we have :)

    10. the boots and the shoes WILL fit,
I have this shoes and the fit perfectly!!!!

    11. Changed the thread title! And I realized I have some shoes I never took pictures of, I'll try to get around to that this week.

    12. Nice, thanks so much :) I'm still waiting for a shoe order and can't wait to add to the thread when they arrive :D

    13. Ok, some of my shoes arrived from the "Dark Blue Shoe GO" Even so I got these shoes in a GO, I see all of these available on ebay from several different sellers, so that would probably be the quickest way to get them. So, without further ado, here is what I got:

These dark blue boots fit super well, she stands in them well and they look great. Definitely a good buy!

These sneakers were very big, they didn't fit. They didn't come with shoe laces (not shown with shoe laces, still I was surprised) They're very loose and look clunky, but fit my Iplehouse Ryan perfectly, like a glove without being too tight. FYI

It's all I have at the moment, sorry!

    14. well I decided to try and make some shoes for my BBB ariel. (she is on a Resinsoul msd body)
I think they turned out pretty well
      [IMG]
now I need to make shoes for the rest of my hard to fit dollies!

    15. Great Job !!! on the shoes. YOu are giving me confidence to try myself. thanks for showing them.

    16. First off, sorry for such a late reply! Second, I think Leeke shoes are made for MSD style dolls, which have much larger feet, so I would suspect that they would not fit well (too wide, too long) Really sorry! I hope more people who participated in the Dark Blue shoe GO will post their results here as there were some mary janes that looked similar to those in the order. But I don't have confirmation as to the fit :( Though I kind of suspect they'd fit?? They are sold on ebay by several sellers (I know, they're not exactly the same, sorry, just the closest I've seen that aren't MSD size) Dollmore also has similar mary janes, but they're also for the larger footed MSD :(

    17. Hmm, well I'm not sure if this would help you much but I have these exact same shoes for my Narae and they fit perfectly!

    18. Thanks so much for getting back to my post! I've seen that moderately modified Luts MNF shoes fit Narae well enough so I hope that these will fit alright.

      @IngieBee
Eep, I hope they fit well enough, after reading this thread it seems to be a shot in the dark. Sometimes they fit sometimes they don't and they can be the same brand and make of shoe just different colors *_* . I guess I could stuff them if they're too long and maybe make some 'fit-ems' out of leather if they're too deep.

    19. Forgive me if this has been answered or posted...but I'm pretty sure it hasn't.

Anyway, has anyone tried Ndoll's msd shoes? I'm thinking about getting a pair for my MNF. thanks! n_n
Also, once I have my dolls I'd love to help get this thread moving along. We need more shoe comparison shots here!
