1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Narin Creative/Dollfair Waitlist and Resolution

Oct 16, 2010

    1. I've been following this thread for a friend that is not on DOA. Has anyone been watching the Limwha Waiting Room? People are receiving their dolls from Catrina.

    2. This story of the head cap magnet glue thing is EXACTLY what she told us about all the Neferti heads. I find it very hard to believe that this problem occurred both with the Nefertis and your Briar. I asked for the head and cap in any form, anything, I'll take care of the magnet issue myself, but got told some story about non typical magnet sizes. I told her I didn't care, send it. Then I felt sorry for her again, backed off, and hoped for the best. You all know how that has turned out, for me and everyone else.

Since there are no photos or any other evidence to support her claims of heads being completed, I now think there never were any. None. Ever. It may not have been on purpose, in may not have been her intent, but she has effectively scammed us.

    3. Initially I believed in Catrina. I had a conversation on the phone with her about 2 months ago and she sounded sincere and overwhelmed.
She had promised to take pictures of the Neferti's heads for us, while she was waiting for the new magnets to come in, that's right!!
      What happened to those?!?

    4. I've researched and also sought advise from my father who is a lawyer. Unfourtonaley it seems taking legal action on the matter would not be pratical or cost effective.

Anyone who has not sent a request for refund in writing should do so and save it. Filling a complant with the organisations Haru-jen mentioned would also be a good idea.

Other then that - I think finding someone who lives near Catrina who can visit her in person would be the best course of action. Is there no one involved in this who could go to see her?

    5. I agree with this.

    6. I'm actually surprised with all the outstanding Dollfair/Narin orders Catrina is still being allowed to trade on DoA until the issue is resolved.

    7. Here are a few more links I lifted from Rowan on DOA from the problems with Arcadia Dolls. It's worth reading the Arcadia Waiting Room thread to see what actions Rowan took to help get members orders completed. My goddaughter has now had problems with Customhouse (I also waited 9 months), Arcadia and Narin and I am fairly steaming at what is going on in some of the doll companies and the lack of recourse people think they have. I hope no one will give up...

    8. oggi: Thank you for the links! The last one doesn't work for me, though. D;

I will probably file IC3 etc. when haru-jen does. I can't see what else to really do at this point.

    9. Sorry about link...I did a re-cut and paste on the link but you can type in Bad Dolly Deals on Bing and it should be the first site. It's just a live journal blog room but there is a November thread about this issue from someone who I believe is now on DOA.

    10. No problem. :) Thank you for the resources!

    11. I was the person that posted on Bad Dolly Deals: http://community.livejournal.com/bad_dolly_deals/251141.html

I already filed with IC3 (back in November), if anybody wants to join my complaint just PM me to let me know so I can add you onto mine. I don't know if having more people on one complaint will help though. So far the IC3 haven't contacted me about reviewing my complaint or anything. I understand they can't look at every complaint that is filed so here's hoping somebody does look at the file.

    12. I actually just read through your post there. It hits home because I really wish I'd asked for a refund months ago, when people were actually getting them. x_x I think I'm only giving it another day or two before I file my own IC3; I've sent three emails in the last two or three weeks and none of them were ever responded to.

    13. I just filled an IC3, but i don't know if it will change anything to the situation...

    14. I think if enough people file IC3's with the FBI on this then there has to be some sort of action taken.

I know some people might be reluctant to do it, but I would go ahead and file them, if not just for you, but for anyone else who has a problem. Certainly it will get noticed.

I would do all individual IC3's and then maybe a group IC3 just to get the point across with the total $ owed.
The bigger the numbers the bigger the results. :)

    15. I've emailed Dollfair several times over the last few days to give them fair warning and 48hrs to respond/refund my money.
And I have no doubt that they are following this thread.
If I hear NOTHING by the end of this evening, I am filing an IC3.

*******DOLLFAIR, IF YOU ARE READING THIS THREAD, PLEASE RESPOND TO MY E-MAILS AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS WAITING FOR AN ANSWER. THANK YOU.******

    16. Has anyone tried calling this number: (440) 239-0723 that is listed on the Dollfair website?? I just calling and there was no answer.
Are there any other numbers to call to talk to them personally??

    17. I googled Datatex Media Dolls and found this, don't know if anyone has tried it. 216-598-1000

    18. Just filed a compalint individualy with IC3, how do we do a group one?

Also will file with better buissnes bureau later today.

    19. I'm not sure, but obsessed_mimiko a few posts back said we could PM her if we wanted to add ourselves to her complaint, so maybe that's how. I will probably file later today, I don't see how any of the emails I've sent in the last month will ever be responded to. v_v

    20. Can non US residents file on those sites? I'm not sure I have waited long enough yet to go ahead. I called Visa earlier and am waiting on an answer as to whether I would be able to get a refund through them as I used a debit card rather than a credit card.
