hey again guys Last post before I call it a night. I thought of one more thing that may or may not be useful. Contacting the Berea, OH police department. This is fraud, and theft in my opinion. I'm not sure if it will do any good to contact them, but I think there can't be any harm in leaving NO stone unturned. In cases like lillycats, where the master has been stolen I believe they can do something about it, beyond that... well it can't hurt to try, and I imagine the Berea police will be surprised to have a flood of emails about this company, and maybe just maybe.... they can either help, or direct you to help in an unexplored arena. I got a very similar one--he said he would make me my Neferti. 0_o I honestly don't know what to think except that one way or the other, sure, I'll see what comes of that... I already paid and if refunding my original purchase is even possible, it would be through Dollfair. I'm taking it with a grain of salt--but it would make for an interesting twist.
Well I suspect he plans to make a 0% profit on new orders placed with him. So if it costs $300 to make a $600 doll and someone orders $600 for a doll, then he will use some for his monthly expenses, some to make their doll, and the rest to provide you with your doll. If he really pulls that off....... i will be deeply deeply impressed because the personal cost to him will be outrageous. So sad, people paying for others mistakes and lies. Poor guy has been through a huge lawsuit and now this. Catrina is the one who scammed everyone here out of tens of thousands of dollars and Bimong, who is more or less a victim is taking the hit out of a sense of honor. what a world.

This was one of the most common, easiest and best ideas out there about dealing with fraud especially if you have an address. I read about an eBay incident where the seller started off sending the stuff and building up excellent feedback and then stopped sending just collecting the money. Turned out it was a 19 year old kid living with his parents but the police went in and arrested him. Sounds awful until you remember the grief of the victims. Latest development: I got this from Jo Ross/Dollfair this morning: "This is Jo Ross. I want to apologize for the delay in sending you your Briar.. Catrina has been ill and she left a lot of things for me with notes and instructions, and your Briar was one of them. I have been overwhelmed with all the things to do, and on top of holidays difficult to keep up." and, "I should be able to get her out to you tomorrow and I'll send you a tracking number. I think it takes about three days to England, barring any customs delay. I will also include some free eyes and wig and will look for some clothing as a special gift to you for your trouble. I just wish I had a magic wand around here to help me catch up faster. Please get back to me today with this confirmation and I will be in touch with your shipping information. I replied and urged her to come to DOA and make a statement on this thread to try and at least show willing to sort out the mess because Dollfair's continued silence is simply unfair when so many people are upset/angry. We will see.
Bimong has contacted me, and he is going to fulfill my Dollfair order. I am thrilled. Especially because of the honorable way he is ending this situation. My thoughts and prayers are with Catrina, for everyone's sake I wish that she can also stand up and be honorable, and that this Jo can help her. I wish for a speedy and good resolution for all involved.

To hazard a guess, I'd say he means he is waiting for more of his own income to cover the costs of production, but you'd want to clarify that just in case. Given the accounts of other people's dealings with Dollfair it is entirely plausible that Bimong was being truthful when he said he had only received a small portion of the money from Catrina. So to produce all the outstanding orders he would be covering the costs of manufacturing himself.
Yes, I did e-mail Bimong another inquiry to clarify. I also e-mailed the Ohio Attorney General regarding the Dollfair dirty business dealings. I am working on filing with the BBB and the IC3. I want to follow thru completely. Hopefully everyone else is doing the same. Power in numbers. We have no right to complain if we just sit on our hands in this situation.
Agea...I had the same problem about the same time. Ordered my fourth French Resin and received Urethane, it's so obviously a different material. After many emails back and forth I was told I was lucky the doll was so smooth? Then no response to any emails and I kept her and gave up...not this time...
Just a small thing, my master hasn't been stole by Dollfair, I have a contract running actually with them ( until March 2112 ) and want to stop this contract for several reasons ( as the lost of trust and all this narae story ) , and they don't want to, my problem is there..
I just received this speedy reply from Bimong: "Dear Stephanie Yes I say all to my customers. This is method that keep my honor and customer's right. Thank you again Truly Heartily deeply. Bimong" I am speechless. Now I have hope again that we'll receive what is owed us.
I admire Bimong and hope he can fill the gap here. BUT please also don't stop filing reports with the agencies listed previously. Bimong is being kind, but that doesn't mean that Catrina should be free from her responsibility. She has stolen money from everyone here. Lets see if this all comes together.
I wrote a physical letter to Catrina/Jo Ross/Dollfair, and sent it regular mail and certified mail. That way I can confirm it was at least received by them. I requested the head or a refund, preferably a refund at this point (from her, anyways... the Bimong thing seems to be a different ball game altogether). I do wonder, if for some magical reason she does send a refund AND Bimong sends a head, then what?!
