1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Narin Creative/Dollfair Waitlist and Resolution

Oct 16, 2010

    1. Use the money for the refund to pay Bimong for the head :)

    2. Hello....

Well i called the Berea, OH police department and gave them the BBB address for Dollfair, they said it was registered to a tow truck company, I googled and called the tow truck company.... they said that one other person had called there about Catrina as well.

He didn't know much but he said that she is in the building next door, and she was there this morning and she is usually there at nights after 9pm.

So there is a business there, and she does work in it.

Also he said that there used to be a lot of employees, but now he thinks it's just her and maybe one other person.

I know this isn't very helpful information, but at least there IS a Dollfair, and at least Catrina IS apparently there, but that even makes me angrier that she's there and not doing anything.

The man at the towing company was very polite and talked to me about 15 minutes but nicely said he didn't want to be involved because she scares him a bit, so I wouldn't recommend calling him but I hope this helps somewhat.

    3. Sweeeet idea!!!

    4. Vonbonbon posted in the Limwha Waiting Room that she received an email from Jo Ross asking for her address (what?) and saying that Catrina is still ill...hmmmm, maybe she has a twin? But the address request makes sense...apparently many of the Limwha dolls aren't ending up where they should be.

    5. I wrote to Bimong today about Limhwa because the girl who creates Limhwa dolls actually was his student once.
The only way to communicate with Limhwa (to my knowledge) is through Dollfair. So I asked Bimong if he could get in touch with the creator of Limhwa and ask her if she is getting orders and money from Dollfair.

What he said to me was this: Ms. Jung (Limhwa owner) knows about all the problems between Dollfair and him, and also the problems with no refunds being given or dolls produced. However she regretfully still believes what Catrina is saying to her. That it made him sad because Catrina has turned Ms. Jung against him with lies.

He asked me if Ms. Jung suffered, and if her customers suffered. I told him that the customers were very confused and worried and were afraid that Catrina would hurt them a as badly as the Narin/Neferti/Sleetweath customers. I told him I don't know how Ms. Jung is doing and could he please call her or contact her to tell her what is going on with her customers.
He seemed alarmed and said to me that he would attempt to contact Ms Jung over the next few days.

Sorry the above might be a little confusing to read, I was like.... trying to read through the emails and present it in a way where the english made more sense.

So I'll let you know after he contacts the Limhwa owner, if he is able to talk to her at all.

    6. Yes, I was thinking the same. :) Though sadly, I doubt we'll have to worry about it.

    7. Thank you, nocturneofsilence! I can't say how helpful and thoughtful this is :)

    8. It's no problem, i know i got my refund long ago, but I cannot sit here and not..... do something. Not fight.
Maybe that's why my boss calls me the viking warrior princess.... who knows.... but I am going to find out as much as I can and help as much as I can because everyone here is a part of the extended doll family :)

    9. Too funny...that's exactly what my husband calls me but being a viking warrior princess can be exhausting and lonely when you look over your shoulder and the troops have disappeared, LOL...Amazing work Ms E, thank you.

Two people from the Limwha WR contacted me and I referred them to your post about Bimong. I also sent him an email similar to yours. There isn't a way to contact Jung Ji Youn directly to voice your concerns so she is pretty much in the dark and her business may suffer for that. Still don't know if the Limwha dolls are coming directly from Korea or through Dollfair first...but they are apparently still having shipping problems.

If anyone is still interested in trying to contact Catrina I found a fax number on the Limwha site that may or may not work...guess someone has to decide to answer it: 440.625.6122.

    10. Aw, jeez, the Limwha thing is sad.

I feel silly for not thinking of it myself, but I totally agree, paying Bimong for the head if we somehow get both refund and product would be a great idea. Nocturneofsilence, thank you! O_o That is incredibly useful information. It piques one's curiosity horribly, but to know she does in fact exist still... Huh.

The possibility of my Neferti actually being made in the end is way too exciting, though I'm trying to reign it in in case something weird happens again.

Oh, edit: Just tried the fax number, it immediately cut off.

    11. If no one gets the Neferti heads that were promised by Dollfair for the last few months, I don't imagine we'll have to worry about getting a refund and what to do with it.

I threw my shipping boxes away from Limwha long ago but if someone still had one the Korean address might be on it...if someone wanted to contact Jung.

When I called the fax number it just rang and rang...

    12. I thought the same thing myself: if I get refunded by Dollfair then I'd pay Bimong for the Neferti head. That would only seem like the right thing to do.
I have many thoughts about this whole affair. I definitely agree that we need to follow thru with the filing of complaints. Dollfair has a lot of explaining to do and I want to know the real truth behind this whole mess.

    13. Me too. Short of contacting the police--still waffling on that--I've filed with everyone and everything listed in this thread. So I guess let's see?

    14. what is the approximate number of people who are awaiting dolls or refunds? is there any way to do a head count?

    15. I guess the best way to do a head count would be going through the thread or if we can compile some kind of list of who is still waiting. If I should get my refund I like the idea of paying Bimong too like everybody else.

I'm waiting on my refund of $550 for my 43cm Golden Beige matte resin, classic knee, Butterfly face Narin.

Thank you nocturneofsilence for all your efforts in helping everybody.

I've also filed with the BBB (back in November), the IC3, the FTC, the Minnesota attorney general office ( back in November also but nothing came out of it) and the Ohio attorney general office (yesterday night). Let's hope with all the complaints filed a resolution would come soon.

    16. I suggested on an earlier post starting a self editing list like the one I started in Customhouse (similar to the one I'm on in Fairyland) The self editing list right on the thread seems to be working well...I'm sure everyone likes to see if there are any changes with other members.

There is also a Narae WIKI list but I don't know if anyone is updating their status. I'll put the self editing list together, add it to this thread and we'll see how it goes.

[edit] Here is the skeleton list for everyone to fill in as they wish...it's easy to edit but should you have any questions, please send me or nocturnofsilence a PM and we'd be glad to help.

    18. Couldn't find my limhwa box but I got her Korean website address.

Maybe someone who can write in Korean might want to try and write to her in the board?
      http://www.limhwa-1004.com/

p.s. Not sure they still do this now but few years ago, Limhwa doll would be shipped to Catrina (US) first then she resends them to customers. Unless there's an extreme delay, then the doll (or parts) will be sent directly from Korea

    19. I've updated my info on Wiki (well, what little there is to update). =__=

    20. I don't know if this will help but on the site, Limhwa Dolls listed this email address as her point of contact:
[email protected] but this was posted in 2006...
