Narin Creative/Dollfair Waitlist and Resolution

I'm pretty sure Visa WILL do a charge back for you, just call the number on the back of your card and mash buttons until you talk to a human and they should direct you to whatever department handles that and you can get your chargeback underway.

As i said paypal's 90 day policy only matters if you paid with balance, they can't do ANYTHING to stop credit card chargebacks, and you will most likely get your money back because Catrina will most likely not reply at all to the case.

The way chargebacks work is if you used your credit or debit card through paypal you call your debit/credit card company, they open a case to investigate.... paypal notifies the seller about the chargeback and the seller is given the opportunity to reply, the credit card/ debit card company decides the case themselves, and takes the money from paypal, who in return takes the money from the seller.

I have seen chargeback cases that have been solved in the buyer's favor for transactions as old as a YEAR.

Add this to the mix. My bank said a business has to have the funds in an account for chargebacks. They said usually they give you the credit and then deal with a dispute with the company.

For international sellers, the rules are a little different. Sellers in the U.K., Australia, and Canada can issue refunds through their local bank accounts like U.S. sellers can. However, sellers in other countries must either use a U.S. bank account (which few international sellers have access to) or must have a balance in their PayPal account to process a refund. The only other option is to use the "send money" option, which has its own problems as previously mentioned.

Hey guys,
I oroginally posted this message in Limhwa Leda thread, but I was adviced to post it here too as it may concern other Limhwa fans who ordered goods from their site via Dollfair.

I'm very worried about my Leda order and another one I placed Nov 29 & Dec 7 respectively.

Yesterday I wrote 2 e-mails, 1st to Dollfair & 2nd to Limhwa itself asking about the destiny of my orders.

Today I got a reply from Limhwa, saying

I haven't received order from dollfair yet.
I have been expecting order.

So now I'm even more confused and worried. 1,5 months are not enough to pass my orders to Limhwa? Incredibly fast communication, I'd say.

 

Maybe try and speak to them on the phone, I've done that before and when you actually manage to speak to a real live human being Paypal are pretty helpful and talk you through the steps of whatever you need to do.

 

Anyone know how it works with a direct bank account payment through paypal? I mean, not a pp balance, not through a debit or credit card, but directly from my checking account via pp (verified).

I think I will try to contact them and see what they can do. At the very least, maybe they'll shut down her account. For one thing, both the email and the phone # listed in her pp info don't work, so I would think that's fraudulent to start with. I just don't look forward to the process. Though I have to say, the IC3, BBB, and Attorney General forms were waaaaay easier than I thought they would be.

Please, yes, please... everyone file with these agencies!! It's very true that the more of these they receive, the better the chance that they'll respond to them. That might be true of paypal as well. (?)

 

US Limhwa orders from October got an email this morning saying the dolls are being shipped today.

I really think they are trying to straighten everything out.

I wrote to a local Berea, Ohio news paper reporter and briefly explained our story and asked if they would be interested in helping.

I just heard back from the lady today and she is interested.

I already disputed Catrina through Paypal. I made my order from Limhwa last December.
I have no reply back from them, and now we have these problems. I made a decision that I shouldn't put myself at risk.
Limhwa costumers are receiving dolls, but who know?
She got 20 days to response my dispute. Hope i get something back this time. Otherwise, I think I need Paypal claim.
