Hey guys I got an email back from Denis, Catrina's husband. I do believe Catrina's husband in at least that catrina didn't go out with the intention to defraud us orginally. With all her posts and after speaking to her on the phone where she seemed sincere, I think if she really was a crook orginally she must be one very cold-hearted actor to fool us all. Well I might be wrong. But I don't think intent makes alot of difference this late in the game, not after so many are out of money. Definitely thank you, norturne! I read those emails on your blog, and it's helped me to understand Catrina's stand, but sick or not, she should have shut down all websites and taken absolutely no orders if this was the case!
Guys no need to thank me, Oggi and Agea have been huge helps to me. When I was about to give up they kicked me square in the behind and got me right back on track and I wouldn't have been able to do it without them, and also Vonbonbon who was awesome enough to post the link from my blog on hers. There are several others who have messaged me and helped me and I'm thankful for their support as well. Never forget that we are a community and there's no reason for anyone to have to fight alone! Also the moderators have been working on your behalf whether you know it or not, because of their position in the forum they can't get involved publicly, but know that they've done the best they can for you. Also I wanted to state this publicly.... I am in no way working with or for Dollfair in the matter of refunds or anything else, I'm working for you against Dollfair. I really really hope that the refunds start being issued, but there is nothing I can do to force them to issue them. In the sad case that refunds are not getting issued and Denis stops contacting me then there is nothing further that can be done on my end. So PMing me and asking me for status updates every few days isnt going to do much good because i'm worried that will happen if Denis doesn't do what he says he's going to do. Just wanted to get that out there, I will make sure to keep you updated here and on my blog so you'll know everything I know as soon as anything happens!

Unbelievable, this morning I got THIS email: "Dear yvonne, Thank you for contacting us. I have forwarded this to our customer service director, Jo Ross. She should be replying to you very shortly. Signed, Dollfair Customer Support" That was supposedly in response to this email, sent about a week ago: "Re: the order below. I was told via email on December the 15th that my doll was finally shipping out next day and that I would be sent the tracking number the next day. Please supply that tracking number or a full refund, Thank you, Yve" Now since then I have sent several more emails and also had the fatuous email from Jo Ross on last Friday saying (once again) that my doll was shipping next day and she would send me tracking info, nothing since then until this stupidity. "Dollfair Customer Support" that really takes the biscuit!
I got an e-mail today too. I just dispute them on Paypal due to that they reply me nothing for a long time what do you think?
I think that it's not worth the risk and that you should just have your money returned to you by paypal. I know that stinks, but so does losing your money because of another lie. At least this way you'll have your money back. You will be taking a huge risk to end up like everyone else who has delt with dollfair if you decide to cancel your paypal claim. Limhwa is starting to have problems with Dollfair because Catrina hasnt sent them the orders they are waiting for for a month.
Lokifer, don't release your money. It's shame but I would be very cautiois given all the issues we have had. IF Limwha sets up their own ordering system (not thru Dollfair) then I would proceed that way.
Nocturne, I just read your blog from today and I am NOT surprised at your discovery. It makes perfect sense. And you are absolutely right. EVERYONE on that list waiting for a refund should be contacting the Attorney General in Ohio. I did so last week as well as filed my IC3 and report to BBB. C'mon guys!! Several people here on this board have worked very hard contacting authorities, sleuthing for info and as Nocturne said in her blog, the Attorney General in Ohio is very willing to help us if we band together and issue complaints individually. In addition, I looked at the BBB rating for Dollfair and the rating for Dollfair is an "F". But it does not end there... only THREE individual complaints were filed. THREE!! Everyone on that waiting/refund list should be filing... IT IS YOUR RIGHT!!!
