Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I filed with the Att. Gen. and so did I_DekuPhantomme, so that's two. Are they not getting some of them? Cuz I could have sworn several other people said they filed. Or at least more than three.

      Also, I got an email today, apparently from Jo Ross, (or based on the recent blog entry from Nocturne, it could be Catrina or her "husband"??) that was brief and somewhat vague:

      EDIT: Checked my email, I do have a confirmation from the Ohio Att. Gen. C'mon, folks! File that thing!! They actually make it really easy, mostly just a check list type thing, like taking a quiz on facebook, then an area for a brief description. And the more people who file, the more attention they'll pay to the situation.

      Also got a confirmation from the BBB and IC3, as well as the paypal dispute, even though it's waaaay past the normal 45 day limit. They told me that even if they can't help me specifically, if lots of people complain and file with them, they can take action against Catrina. At least then more people can't unwittingly fall into this mess paying for something that isn't there and will never come.
       
    2. Filed with the Ohio Attorney General's Office and Paypal so far. I know people are hesitant to do this since it seems like such a huge step up from our doll world into the legal real world. And of course it would make one look bad for filing a complaint when Catrina was reported as being ill. It's the reasons I have hesitated so far. I think the time for patience and nicety is past due since a number of broken promises are being made and now no communication at all from Dollfair/Catrina. I sent another email to Jo Ross just to give it another try a few days ago and there has been no reply. Please file with the Ohio Attorney General's office at least. Their office is located right there where Dollfair is located and something could possibly be done if there are enough complaints.

      For those filing internationally, you could compose a word document with your complete info and attach it to the page since it gives you the option.
       
    3. Catrina told me about a month ago she was sending me heads to be painted for customers that paid for the Nefrediti. To date I have still not received the heads, nor have I received my personal order from her.
      I also have a Limhwa doll she sent me to be painted and I have no idea who it is for? No invoice or name. All I know is that is was for an International buyer. If you are this person please email me. Thanks, Cristy Stone, www.xtremedolls.com I have email Catrina about this doll but have not received a response. I was told she was in the hospital sick.
      In addition, I want everyone to know I have nothing to do with the daily business of Dollfair. I'm contract labor only. If I can help in any way I certainly will. Like you, I am also a victim and have not received the merchandise I paid for either. I do think it is time to stop the slander and just handle things in a professional and legal manner.
       
    4. I will file with the Ohio AGO later and also the BBB, I presume I can do this from overseas. I think like a lot of others I've been torn, thinking that if she is genuinely ill, then filing legal charges against her seemed wrong. I have repeatedly hesitated because I just kept hoping that Catrina would step up and at the very least make some sort of statement, but it doesn't seem as though she has the inclination to do so. That doesn't leave us many options.
       
    5. I filed with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, IC3, BBB, and the FTC. Vonbonbon, at first I was feeling the same way as you were; however, I haven't received any contact whatsoever since November and well over a year has passed since I made my initial order. Any kind of general update would have been better than silence and I'm hoping we will all see some kind of end to this.
       
    6. I understand everyone's initial unwillingness to file complaints because I was in the same boat too, thinking sincerely that Catrina was sick but when we add up all the promises & excuses ie: half the heads sent out, problems with the magnets on the Neferti heads and then promising to post pictures of the heads and then these e-mails from "Jo-Ross" promising to send out tracking numbers the last week of December PLUS the countless answered phone calls & e-mails... we have been deceived. That is a fact, not slander.
      My main concern right now is for all of us, the customers, to file our complaints with the appropriate sources. We have to prevent this to happening to other people in the future.

Compensation agreement made with Dollfair in October 2010 and defective item was sent back immediately after to Dollfair. - waiting for compensation + shipping fees refunded for parts sent back.

    9. I filed IC3 and Ohio Attorney General's Office ahwile ago. I had a bit of a problem with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, becuase the form is not set up for internatinal user very well, becuase our phone numbers and zip codes are different, their respective feilds did not have have enough characters to allow me to fill those in properly >< Hope it's not a problem.
       
    10. What I want to know, is if it is three people supposedly working there, Catrina, Jo and Catrina's husband Denny, why does an email have to be forwarded from "Customer Support" (funny thing to call it) to Jo Ross?!?!?

      This isn't Bank of America, why not turn to the party responsible for the email and get an answer and just respond?!?!?!?
       
    11. rleigh252 : Before I ever placed my order, I enquired on two different occasions if they did layaway, both times I was sent and email from "Dollfair Customer Services" saying "Thank you, Catrina will contact you shortly". Typically neither were ever answered beyond that and eventually I went ahead and ordered and paid in full (aaarrrggh, idiot) I don't know why that didn't tip me off!

      It seems like a way of making Dollfair seem more organised/professional and a bigger company I guess, it might work if only they ever followed through.

      Just filed with BBB and had same problem as Silly Peach encountered.

    13. I have filed with IC3, the BBB, the Ohio Attorney General, and the FTC. My next step will be trying the chargeback. Good luck everyone--keep filing--I think it's so weird on the one hand that Dollfair seemed to be trying to respond to everyone and fix things and then at the same time be doing such strange junk messaging, too. But keep it up! :')

I understand why people might be reluctant to file, but keep in mind that even if Catrina is sick, she has people who work with her, husband and family and Jo Ross, who should be dealing with this even if she personally can't. But they aren't. Also keep in mind that if you file, you're not sending her to jail or anything drastic like that, you're just starting an inquiry that will hopefully get your money returned.

      EDIT: Just filled with BBB as well. Do you guys think phoning the Ohio Attourney General aswell will do any good even though I already filed online?

      Sillypeach: It wouldn't hurt to try. That may get them moving abit when they hear personally from someone located internationally. If I don't get a reply from them I'll give them a call myself next week.
       
    19. Hey, every contact they get will only increase their interest, I think if you filed online and called them it would make a bigger impact on the importance. Even if you just call to make sure they got your online form! :)
