Narin Creative/Dollfair Waitlist and Resolution

Really appreciate the timeline! It was an interesting read and definitely details everything that I've seen happening in the last year.

 

Thanks guys! The timeline was complied by someone who wanted to remain anonymous, but they are pretty epic for sitting down and compiling it! I was *THRILLED* when she mailed it to me!

It is REALLY hard to remember everything that happened and who said what.

I check this thread like 100x a day my stomach is just tied in KNOTS hoping that there will be a breakthrough! Thank you all so much for your kind words to me, and also for supporting eachother.

We all make a pretty awesome team! When all this is said and done I'm going to get a celebratory 26cm doll to commemorate the victory!

PS: I was thinking about adding more to the blog about Limhwa but I haven't been following their stuff as closely as ours, I will go over to the thread and look really quick when I get home tonight, but does anybody have further information that I should be posting on the blog? Or has anybody written to or heard from the owner of Limhwa (her address is posted in my blog)????

December 4, 2009 - masala_chai_tea Golden Beige Matte Narae 60cm open-eyed head ($265). Defective item received on April 20th, 2010 and a replacement was promised. Compensation agreement made with Dollfair in October 2010 and defective item was sent back immediately after to Dollfair. - waiting for compensation + shipping fees refunded for parts sent back.

I am happy for the Limhwa people that are getting their dolls from Ohio, but it is also extremely frustrating for me to see because it means that Catrina is there and IS taking care of some sort of business.... yet she continues to ignore the people who are awaiting refunds here. I guess her "sick" excuse has run its course and now she is healthy and well enough to fill orders for some companies, while she is persistent in neglecting all of you. It really makes me want to scream.

I just don't know what to say because I'm so angry right now. All she has to do is sit down, type in names and order numbers and click "send payment" and you guys would be getting your money back, but she doesn't. Even if it was just one refund a day for the next month or so.... it would still be some sort of effort.

I think she knows if she doesn't take care of at least Limhwa then all her money making ability will be in the toilet, and that's what all this is really about right? Money. Not dolls, not customers.... money.

$4000 was sent to the Narin Casting manager. Therefore Catrina still has in her possession $11,000 of the Narin orders.

I can't even begin to imagine an excuse for that. $11,000.

Does she still even have it? Has it been spent on something else?

 

The limited communication on the Limhwa dolls has come from Jo. We got an email that the dolls were wrapped, a USPS email regarding the shipment and a hand written note from Jo on the copy of the order in the box. They didn't answer emails for us either, so I was glad that there were no problems.

 

If the Neferti's really were cast then it would only be an matter of mailing them out just like the limwha orders.

I'm so angry right now... it's not even in my character to get angry.

Vbonbon, i'm really sorry that you've been so ill. What about the visa chrageback? Where they not able to get you're money back for you?

 

I think the difference is that Limhwa is still working with Dollfair, and Bimong is not, therefore keeping the Narin customers happy is no longer any sort of concern or priority. I think she also knows that the people in this waiting room have been burned so badly by Dollfair that we're past the point of "kiss and make up" and will most likely not be repeat customers anyways.

It's all my speculation, of course... but it hurts. It hurts because I care SO MUCH for the people who are frustrated in this thread and that they get their refunds.

The reason I started my "crusade" or "viking warrior princess raid" is because I got my refund and simply disappered, not even bothering to come back and check to see if things were going ok with everyone else. I feel so guilty for that. If i had come to check on you guys I would have known sooner, acted sooner, and helped sooner... and for that I'm sorry.

Time to keep on filing with the Ohio Attorney General's office! Even if you're international they will accept your complaint. I'm doing some other research of my own.... I'll keep you guys posted!

I would like to know the answer to this as well.

Has anybody had any success with the start of their chargeback process? I paid through Paypal with an instant-bank funds transfer so how does that work with the chargeback? I've talked to my bank before and they told me they had no way of tracking where my money went besides it being transfer to my Paypal account. So does that mean that if my bank lets me do a chargeback that I will actually get my money from Paypal and then Paypal will go after Dollfair? I was trying to do some research online but all I found was this

I want to start my chargeback process but I also want to understand how it works. I will get in touch with my bank again so hopefully I will get more clarification. I wish everybody success with their chargebacks.

EDIT: found my answer I think. Does it work the same with bank account transfers to Paypal accounts?

 

If you paid through instant transfer:

You can still file a charge back by either going directly to your bank and file for a chargeback with them there, or you can call their 1-800 number on their website.

I would really recommend physically going to your bank and speaking with an employee there though, if you can. That way you can be face to face with someone and it won't be as frustrating as being on the phone. Have the date you ordered ready so they can pull up the transaction quickly!

I'm not involved with Dollfair, but I can give information on chargebacks (courtesy of Felix doll). Basically the bank processes the claim and puts the chargeback through to paypal. Paypal will then open up a claim regardless of how far over the 45 day time period it is. I don't know what will happen if the money is not in the paypal account but I have a feeling that if the vendor cannot provide proof of shipping then the refund should be issued and paypal will likely chase Dollfair to reimburse the funds or use any funds from Limhwa payments etc.

Nocturneofsilence: My suggestion is if you get any rude or inappropriate pms, then forward them onto the moderators. DoA has a policy of not tolerating harassment of members so they risk getting banned from the forum. Sending it privately does not make it any more acceptable.

Compensation agreement made with Dollfair in October 2010 and defective item was sent back immediately after to Dollfair. - waiting for compensation + shipping fees refunded for parts sent back.

Feb 25, 2010 - Pake4pleasanton 43cm Classic Narae. Pink white matte, small bust, new knee, classic Narae hands, Narin Makeup Day, seam sanding $655 (doll) +$35 (extra for change in eyebrows) = $690 - waiting for either doll or refund.

March 19, 2010- Compresadefresa. Dandelion 39cm. Chopose skin: matte resin tanning. Face Painting: Default-Blank. Sanding Seam: do not sand the seams. Ear Piercing: both ears. Total: $515 (including shipping). November 29, 2010, contacted me and promised a refund. I am still waiting.

That's great news. I wonder what the status is for the rest of us. I haven't gotten an e-mail from him since the last one.

 

Hey, everyone....I started a Waiting List like ours in the Bimong Waiting Room and added my new order, woo woo! Just an idea but can we keep this list just for the Dollfair orders to avoid confusion? It'll be fun to watch Mr B's list fill up and hopefully soon start seeing people receive their new dolls. I'll add your information to the Bimong WR Stella Maris if you don't mind?

 

I almost think it's better to keep any orders relating to Dollfair in here? Because although Bimong is trying to fulfill the Dollfair orders, it's still a resolution to orders that were placed at that time through another company, and not through Bimong's own site.
