XD; Ahh, I just want to clarify my post earlier was not me saying I was going to get cold feet. I just legitimately am kind of afraid of my local police, lol. And I'm trying to figure out how to say what I need to say to them--I imagine I'll be printing off a lot of information. I really am grateful that you've put yourself on the line with this--I think you've brought a tremendous amount of guidance to a lot of people, myself included, who otherwise didn't know what else they could do. As for Catrina herself--I'm not sure I have any beliefs about her now. I trusted her initially--now I feel like I just don't know. I only have the evidence of a sum of missing money and dolls to make my conclusions upon, and so I have acted accordingly. It actually makes me more sad than anything. If I'd been able to anticipate it getting anywhere NEAR this bad, I would have passed on my Neferti and just held on to my hard-earned dolly funds for another day. :S
I think "artists who work with Catrina" means companies like Limhwa who still use Catrina as their middle agent, not faceup artists
Guys, I'm not in this, but when you go to the local police about the reports or what have you, make sure NOT to mention it was a doll. Piece of expensive art, but not doll. They won't care about a doll, thinking you can get those anywhere, but the art mention will and should get them interested.
I'm going to have to suddenly get really good at choosing my words. This was one of the parts I was trying to figure out how to do--how to walk in there and actually tell someone specifically what was lost. X_x I guess I'll be figuring that one out soon.
Got my PM too....thanks! That's how I took it....to mean....artist doll companies. I have no problem with Cristy or any faceup artist....don't think that is what was meant. After getting burned with Neferti....I would watch out for Dollfair acting as an agent too and pass. So any company using Dollfair as a rep/agent might have a problem with sales because of this mess and needs to take that into consideration. The problem in this waiting room is the middle man....Dollfair. The Limhwa buyers are leary and asking questions. Nothing against Limhwa....but people are not trusting turning their money over to Dollfair. The original Yahoo group is of no use to people who want answers so another has been created so posters can post freely. I will not buy another Limhwa through Dollfair because of the same issue. I would prefer to buy direct from Limhwa and if that is not possible....will not buy at all. Whatever the situation with Catrina....it is simply a fact that for those here....trust in Dollfair/Catrina has been lost. Trust is a precious commodity and once lost is extremely hard to earn again.

Perhaps if someone were to try emailing Catrina and asking if she could provide a list of outstanding orders to him. You'd think that would be the least she could do for her customers.
If Catrina so much as lifts her finger in response to any Narin Doll order query I will be shocked. Then she would have to admit that there's some kind of problem. But yes, always worth a try at least.
I just wrote to her husband's email address.... politely asking for the list. Not gonna happen but at least it's out there. Has anybody tried calling that cellphone number?
I've tried calling that cell phone number. No response. I cannot get my chargeback. Too late. So my only hope is that Bimong ships out my blank Neferti head. I will save $$ to pay him back. There is no hope for a refund at this point. I am very glad that the first of the Neferti are being shipped out. Mine is a blank, so hopefully I will get mine soon.
I have tried the cell phone multiple times, plus the other two phone numbers floating around. One is no longer in service, one has a full voice mail and one just rings out ad infinitum. And yeah, no way is Catrina going to do anything, not one teeny tiny little thing. But continuing to email her will at least show that we have continued the effort. I think that's a good idea.
Is the blog gone? I can't access it, it says page does not exist, or some such thing. Is it just down?
