Sorry but who is Erin? And how I can contact her?
Of course I paid, I have the receipts from Dollfair.
I supposed Bimong should know who paid for the dolls, as I ordered the head on Dollfair, I see I supposed wrong.

Cenarius, Erin is a DOA member who has taken it upon herself to act as intermediary between DOA members and Bimong. Despite nasty comments from some, she has spent a lot of time and effort to write a blog to clarify the contradictory statements Catrina has made and to lay out a timeline showing Catrina's disappearance after promising to produce the Neferti heads. After Catrina's radio silence, Bimong promised to make the Neferti heads at his own expense. You can contact him directly with your information so he can get started on your head. He is asking that people send a statement from their bank or paypal showing that they were unable to get a refund or do a charge back. This makes sense as he is casting these heads without getting paid. You can leave a message for him at art-bimong.com

I think you need to read through this thread.

Bimong is the artist, not the person who was supposed to make the heads. He was never supposed to make the heads. Dollfair was supposed to make the heads. Bimong would have NO way of knowing who did and did not pay Dollfair. And the heads he is making he is NOT BEING PAID FOR. Dollfair took the payment for the heads and never made them. Bimong is making and shipping the heads out of his own money.

I have opened a dispute about it too, yesterday, just to have something to use as proof... of course Paypal closed the claim as the transaction is too old to be disputed, anyway I have that proof too.

Glad to see more heads shipping. I'll definitely pay for the shipping of mine when the time comes. Hope Bimong comes out with the SD body for Neferti....will buy it from him. Relieved I hadn't ordered it from Dollfair.

My complaints/filings against Dollfair are still in process. Even if I get no results....at I least tried.

Catrina has been banned from another doll board (ZoZ) due to this mess.

Even though I'd still like to see Catrina take responsibility for what she's done (or at least apologize... something) i AM happy that you guys are getting your orders.

Bimong is sweetheart to work with and will see this through until the end, and I'll for sure be helping him do it!

The 60cm girl body molds should be done in about a week and a half, but I have no idea when they'll be available.

I will be sending a thankyou card + small gift to erin and a thankyou card to Bimong (wasn't sure what to buy a bloke that could be shipped easily) just putting this out there in case someone else would like to do the same to show their appreciation but hadn't thought of it!

 

I’m happy to see that people are getting their orders. I got mine as well, and I must say the Nefertiti head is stunning. I am very happy with it.

 

I've been lurking in this thread but I want to give you guys a heads up on something I found since it seems like the problems with Dollfair is ongoing. I just picked up the latest issue of Doll Reader magazine (February/March 2011) and there's a two-page spread about Dollfair on pages 42-43. It even includes this quote.

The bulk of the article is a glorified ad for Dollfair along with contact information in case you want to order a doll from that company. Unfortunately there will be other people who have picked up the Doll Reader magazine who aren't familiar with the problems with Dollfair who will place new orders with that company. Unless Dollfair straightens itself out, there's a chance that some of these new customers will ultimately get caught up with Dollfair's problems. It's a bad situation.

 

I've only come on this thread the past few times to update people about Bimong and shipping but I want to say that the problems with Dollfair are INDEED ongoing. I know Doll Reader probably sent that issue to the publisher before they found out about the issues with Dollfair but instead of making an announcement on their website about the dangers of ordering they have instead chosen to ignore the problem altogether. Whatever side of the story you may believe the fact is that Catrina lied to all of us about sending the Neferti heads, has KEPT peoples dolls that were sent back to her for fixing, NOT SHIPPED in-stock dolls, is currently ignoring all the artists she has worked with or is currently working with and KEEPING their dolls, masters and equipment, and still remains completely silent to everyone but the Limhwa customers, she also continues to run FIVE different order pages for companies she *no longer* represents.... and you can still fully check out and pay for a doll for those companies.

All this has been completely ignored by Doll Reader, and indeed many other people who are "friends" with Catrina. None of the above is speculation, it's just fact. It's how things are.

I'm so burned out on the Dollfair thing that i've stopped posting to the blog, I think everything is already there.... and I don't need to say anything else.

Right now I'm just working with Bimong almost every night to organize shipping notices and work on order spreadsheets, he is really nice to work with and between us we have accomplished quite a lot.

It really sucks to see that Doll Reader has not issued any statement about the situation, maybe if people wrote to the editor and expressed their concerns then it would prompt them to action, who knows?

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive and kind.... I'm glad that people are getting their dolls, and sad that Catrina has gotten away with this.

I am slowly, but surely, making ready to file the police report--it's just been really rough IRL stuff lately, I haven't been on it every day. >_o I have about half the needed materials printed, I may be able to print off the rest this weekend and see about going to the police station shortly thereafter. I really hope we can let people know what's going on with dollfair because it would be so awful if countless other people ended up in the same situation.

 

Bit of information regarding Catrina in the Narae thread from Dollswest - At Idex Catrina was cautioning people against ordering direct from Bimong.... so it's safe to order from her then?!!! What a nerve to diss Bimong given she owes $$$$ and dolls.

The fact are simple:
- people ordered from Dollfair/Catrina narae/narin/shanti head and paid them.
- those people never received their dolls, they tried to talk with Catrina/dollfair and get info or refund
- Catrina lied about shipping, about what was going on and about other things again and again and then … then disappeared.
- Some of those people who was very lucky got a refund from their bank. Some other people got their doll from Bimong, who make them for free since he never got the money to make them (nobody of these people received their doll from Catrina). There's also some people that don't know about this thread or dollfair problems, those people are simply waiting for something it'll never arrives.

If you want to know the details, I suggest you to read here or this entire thread. Here a not updated list of people that ordered from dollfair and never got their dolls/heads.

I know this story from the beginning, a friend of mine ordered a shanti head on June 2009, after months of frustration, trying to communicate with Dollfair and know something, trying to get a refund, she got her head after 20 months, only 'cause Bimong is so nice to make for free all the old orders from dollfair.

You are free to choose, but if you give your money to Catrina there is a huge possibilty that you will never able to see your doll and your money back. In my opinion, no, it's NOT safe to order from her.
