I discovere the beautiful sleeping Zaya thanks to Youpla's pictures a few days ago. I would love to get one someday as she is the perfect mold for a project (for which i had finally bought an Edria sleeping head for LLDT eventhough far too tall and needing a body for it) but right now i cannot afford the $1500 for the blanck model. I'm also reading this thread all the way from beginning and going to explore Natalia's facebook and flickr further to discover her other works.
I can see how people would double think getting her because of the price. I actually discovered Natalia's doll when she just created one-of-a-kind dolls and well....at more than 4,000 I could not even dream about buying her. Maybe that is why 1,500 does not seem too bad lol
Ah ah, i totally can understand that being kind of half price if compare to an OOAK, a blanck can be seen as easier to get or more affordable (sorry if i'm not clear). ^^ I'm glad that Natalia's making blanck doll, even limited, as not only it allows for more people to get one but also as it allows us to customize them to our liking.
@Youpla Beautiful! She looks as if she really has a soul, it's a pleasure to see these photos. I cannot afford Zaya but at your recommendation I did contact the face up artist for her work.
@Youpla Wow! Your girl is STUNNING!! I looove the gorgeous realism and outfits you have for her. I saw Natalia Loseva's dolls a while back and love the sculpts, but sadly they aren't in my budget of under $400.
This are truly unique dolls. Just discovered this doll artist recently. @Youpla is your doll made out of porcelain or resin? Thank you for the answer in advance! Your Zaya is very beautiful
I just discovered this thread. Here are a couple of photos of my Zaya open eye and closed. I did her aesthetics. Someone asked about the flat feet in high heels. Zaya comes with high heels and, magically, they fit her flat feet! Such astonishing engineering! Zaya is a treasure in every way and I am so happy I am able to bring her to live with me. Can anyone who received their doll in the states tell me how long shipping from Natalia took? My status for my blank Zaya has been on "leaving Russia" for about three weeks and I'm getting antsy.
@bronzephoenix christmas and new year period has just passed (in Russia Christmas is on Jan,7 ), so be patient: either they simply do not update the info on your parcel and it is moving or it is blocked on someone's border Russia/America for custom's control.
@bronzephoenix That's not unusual. Especially this time of year. It's a bit slower now because of the holidays and extra packages. Hang in there!
