natural face ups or fancy face ups?

Jan 2, 2013

    1. I generally prefer that they look more natural. However, I think this depends on the character! I can think of dolls that I want that would be fantasy-based, so I would probably be much more willing to bust out the glitter and long eyelashes for them.

    2. I like both :) But I would only buy natural face-ups myself because those are more my style

    3. I really love natural looking faceups, but there are some more fancy kinds that I really beautiful too! :3nodding: I think having natural faceups would make it so much easier to dress dolls!

    4. I like both, but I tend to want to sew more whimsical and fantasy like so a dramatic face up is perfect.

    5. I genuinely love both! I think it totally depends on the the character of the doll though. I'm personally excited to do both natural and fantasy styled face ups.

    6. I usually like the more natural faceups, but depending on the doll and its character, I would definitely consider something more fantastical!! Some of the fancier faceups are really amazing and beautiful!

    7. I like faceups that are technically well done even if it isn't a style I would want for my own dolls. I love to see what people come up with, there is so much artistry and variety. The one exception is gore--I just can't go there.

    8. Depends on the character.

    9. I like both as well, but I personally like natural faces with a little touch

    10. I like natural face-up, but fancy face up are really great to

    11. I generally prefer natural face-ups for my dolls.

    12. I think it depends on the character as to how I want the doll to look. If it is a vampire I definitely want a dramatic face up.

    13. It all depends on their character honestly. I prefer fancy I think because I see natural looks on people everyday

    14. Natural, realistic.

    15. As a personal favorite, I usually favor more simple face-up work. On the other hand, because it really depends on what the doll's "theme" implies, more intricate face-up work can be very gorgeous. If given the chance, I think less is more. Think simple eyeshadow, but then you add the flare of sparkling or starry blush! Perfect mix!

    16. For my dolls I prefer a natural look. I do love seeing the wild and unusual face-ups though.

    17. I think natural is fun to take photos of, but I really want to try a fancy face-up on Drugo once I'm more skilled. So for now, I can only do natural until I'm brave enough to use bold colors.

    18. i looove the really gore-y ones / pastel and fairy-key ones, haha ^^'''' i just love the ones which look really unique and creative, and which give the doll character... I think natural makeups are really beautiful, though

    19. It depends on the character, but I prefer extremely realistic natural face up most. If sculpt contains a little.... idk, maybe grainy texture- perfect!

    20. Both! Which one depends on the character, but I adore fancy, stylized faceups as much as I adore pretty, simple, natural ones. I very much want a fantasy-esque pastel faceup for one of my ordered dolls, but also want to have at least one or two dolls with more "everyday" looks? But the both definitely have their charms. ;v; <3
