    1. Love your girl Bridget McCall!! Happy she is home with you!

Mine was so loose she was almost like a puppet! First thing I did lwas restring her with heavier elastic. Now she stands and poses like a champ!

    2. Bridget--I love your pics!!! That middle one has so much soul. This girl is so beautiful.

I just checked and mine is on shipping. You can believe I did a little dance just now. She is already in New York, so I will have her by the end of the week. Oh yeah, oh yeah. I ordered her a fancy wig and a pair of brown plaid eyes and a pair of high white patent leather boots from Leekeworld. I don't know where it's going, but I'm having fun and I don't even have my doll yet.

    3. Well, lI found lthe lwigs I had put aside for her when she arrived, and then could not find when lshe got here. So of course she had to try lthem all on. I kinda like the apricot one best. What do you all think??

    4. bjbnut. It is certainly a toss up as to which wig looks best. I like them all. She just looks amazing in whatever you put her in. The faceup is amazing! Mine should be here tomorrow so I am in the process of choosing names.

Even though I have a weakness for braids. I like the wig in 3rd picture best. Maybe it is her expression.

It was a very long wait but now that she is shipping and she is coming fast. She should clear customs today. YOOHOO! It always seems that my packages from Korea arrive faster than packages from the middle of the US.

    5. Bridget McCall: I just went back a page and noticed your Natassa has arrived. She looks wonderful. Congratulations.

    6. bjbnut--I agree with bonmwe, she looks good in all the wigs. Each wig changes her appearance and mood. Do you mind me asking where you bought them? They look really well made.

    7. I'm sorry, bjbnut -- I agree with the others. I think you're going to have to cycle these wigs because they all look dang amazing.

    8. Bonmwe So happy to hear your girl will be with you soon!! Lots of pics please!

Thanks all for your opinions on the wigs. have to agree with you--she wil have to play musical chairs with them!!

Now just have to get an outfit made for her! Her body is so cute I almost hate to cover it!!

    9. thanks all for the comments - I have to say she is sooo adorable - I cant put her down - she is sitting by my bed at the moment. I cant wait to blush her as well - the soom faceup is lovely.
bjbnut thanks for the tip on the stringing - I have tightened her elastic but it didnt make that much difference so I will try with some heavier elastic. I think the blonde wig is my fave of all those (where did you get it btw, it is gorgeous). I agree with you re her body - it is sooo cute. those chubby thighs!! I just want to bite them!
spring yay for on shipping - you are going to *love* her. cant wait to see your pics in all those lovely clothes you have ordered!
bonmwe grats on your girl close to arriving.. I second the lots of pics request :)

    10. For those who asked about the wigs--apricot wig is a Neale wig. He lives in Canada and I'm not sure he still does these wigs, but I have several. The brown wig is a Luts wig and I do not remember the name. The red pig-tail wig is one I picked up at a doll show for $5 and has no labels. But my girl has claimed them all for "hers" lol lol

    11. Wow, all the wigs are great on her! My personal preference leans to the red pigtails, but she looks good in all of them.

She would make a good Tinybear candidate! She has an SD sized head right?

I LOVE the faceup you did on her, it is so perfect. The eyes are also spot on. Insert gushing fangirl emoticon here : :fangirl:

    12. bjbnut, I love your faceup for this girl. Everyone is right - it really changes her look. But that's what's so great about these dolls...

I like her in the black wig (the first one you showed her in) as she reminds me of a friend's daughter (named Emily) but I also really like the blonde one and the pigtails.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else does with their girl.

      ;)

    13. [IMG]Thought I would share a picture of Natassa who arrived today. I am warming up to her but initially I was disappointed. She is one floppy bobble head mess and she performs much better as a marionette. Poor thing. I can't really do much posing with her until she gets a better support system. She can't even sit up.

Her face is very pale and makeup is light but I was expecting that. After getting her eyes in and dressing her, I can see that she is going to become one of my favorites. Just have to do some mechanical adjustments and fiddle with her faceup.

    14. bonmwe--Your first raction was like mine--but after I restrung her and gave her "my" face I LOVED her!! Know you will too. Love your pics on flickr--she is such a sweet winsome girl!! Love that pink teddy top on her, and love the pink wig!!

    15. bjbnut: thanks for your encouragement. I think once she finds her identity and a better posture that pink may be one of her colors. I just hate restringing dolls just about as much as I dislike painting eyelashes.

You are right, that is the best description of her. She is winsome!

Oh yeah, all the clothes she is wearing came with her from NAR/Soom and they are very nice quality.

I love her look overall. I am hoping to give her a very mysterious, more mature look. We shall see what happens to her.

    16. I restrung my girl but I am obviously not good at it - hard to get it really tight. So my Natassa is VERY floppy and unco-operative too. Might try some thinner elastic.

    17. bonmwe - I think the pink wig suits her so well, she is lovely. I am going to try restringing with sd elastic this weekend, will report on findings

    18. Since her body is slight, could she be wired? I have a Notdoll MSD that was a disaster before wiring. She also could not even sit.

bonmwe, don't paint the eyelashes, use a watercolor pencil. My tip o' the day.

    19. My girl's entire face-up was done with pencils, both watercolor and regular, and pastels. I do not use paint any more as it seems too dark and heavy. I used SD size elastic to restring. I don't try to get the knots inside the body, I pull them all out the neck and through the head. That way I can get them really tight! I put her between my knees and clamp with hemastats. Works for me! Good luck!!

    20. any body have this doll? I'm kinda interested in her becoming my franklyn she's sooooo pretty and has a sadness to her >///<
