1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. She is gorgeous!

    2. Sophia is beautiful! I really hope she'll be available to order after the auction, like the happy choo :)

    3. Blank Sofia is now available.

    4. YAY! I ordered one :) She's gorgeous and makes up for the fact that I didn't get Mabelle.

    5. She's finally on her way :) I'm so excited. She is earlier than expected. She shipped the day after I finished paying the layaway! I have to go find a wig and eyes for the poor baldie.

    6. Congratulations! I would love to see a picture of the blank head! I think she looks pretty, but I didn't like the faceup Soom gave her!

    7. She's already in the US! I'll post a photo when she gets here. Do any of you have suggestions on where to find a wig for her giant noggin?

I hope to get some better photos of her soon. The light has been pretty miserable.

    9. Congratulations on your new girl! She's adorable even without a faceup!

I'm kind of curious as to whether you think the 5.2 would be considered MSD or SD size? I have Laureen and she's definitely much smaller than my SD size girls (although with a similar head size), but bigger than my MSD size. She's kind of similar in size to my Dollstown Soyu on the elf body. But is that considered SD or MSD? I welcome your opinions!

    10. The large discussion section is for dolls 50 cm and up, so this is the correct place.

    11. Here's a better photo of Sophia's blank face.

I have to wait for some better weather before I can give her a face.

    12. The new blank Sara is for sale through July 14th.

    13. Thank you for the heads-up @nancy_schroeder_ca!

I would like to ask the people who have recent 5.2 dolls if they can get them to stand? It seems like it got better at some point, but I'm not sure how conclusive that was.

    14. I've got a limited 5.2 Monika fullset, and she is well strung and stands fine :). I find she needs help sitting up though when she's sitting. She needs to lean against something. She's a lovely doll, but I wouldn't recommend her if you love posing dolls and putting them in different positions. She's single jointed.

    15. @marci12 I'm happy to hear it, thank you so much! To me, standing is more important than sitting. And overall I prefer a simple construction. I wonder if they actually changed the body, or if it was a stringing issue.

      Here's a picture of my Monika :).

    17. @marci12 The Imda fullsets are really impressive. I can only wonder where the clothing designers are coming from ;-) I was tempted to enter the last 5.2 lottery. I cannot imagine a better treat than receiving a _complete_ doll with an elaborate outfit, as opposed a blank head here, and a nude body there :-)

    18. Yes, the fullsets are stunning :). Most of the clothing designers are Japanese.

    19. My Sophia will stand, but she's not terribly stable because her head is so big. She is well strung, and not limp like the earlier ones were reported to be. I have no problems with sitting as long as she can lean against something.

    20. Thank you for the info @pixidance, I appreciate it!

For anybody who is considering to order Sara, imda just posted a photo of her blank head on Facebook, in a comment on their latest post. There is also a photo of the body.

      Did anyone order her?
