    4. Thanks to the tiny-doll expert Spampy :aheartbea, we have her suggestions for clothing for Firefly:
      The closest doll in size seems to be the Lati Yellow Special. (There may be others) LYS is actually a bit taller, but Firefly is a little pudgy in the derriere. Bisou AI is similar as well, but a bit thinner.

      We appreciate your know-how!:lol:

    6. I must admit that I am behind on the news. I just discovered "Firefly" yesterday and could not get her off my mind! I placed my order today. She is so cute and will be a perfect play doll as well as a model for me. I have loads of props from my Riley Kish days that my new little one will "take over". She will be more than welcome here.

      Glad to hear she will fit the same size as Lati Yellow Special as I have her. But I do think the bigger bottom end will not allow her to wear the jeans and other pants I have for my Emily. But I think dresses would be great. And the 18cm size should mean she can wear the 18cm (Riley size) dresses from Boneka. I really am not into sewing "tiny stuff" anymore. But how I love to knit for these little guys. Hope her top will be close to Lati size so I do not have to re-chart knitted tops for her.

      I am SO looking forward to her arrival. I did order her in "tanning". I have Naraes in all colors and that is my favorite. However, if she needs a friend, my next one will be in pinky white. I still have not submitted my painting instructions. Need to think more on it.

      As soon as my little one arrives, I will share her! I am so excited!!

    10. I love her pudgy little bottom-heavy body :) I hate to sound like a broken record, but is there any chance she (and the other Narins) will be available in the matte urethane resin at a later time?
      French resin is lovely, but I've found it harder to care for and more of a worry.

    12. Yes, Firefly does come with a wig and eyes and the lace dress. If you want to get in on this order, please do so. It will close super soon! (You can submit your facepainting instructions a little later.) Too cute - I'd love to see her in "Back to School" clothes in the autumn. :lol:

      A done deed...I ordered and paid for Firefly this morning....guess it really didn't bother me if she came with a wig or not....HA! I did order the face up too....I am not very good at that myself...I am ecited to get her....how long do you think it will take for her to arrive....

    15. Not yet, but I am very excited to see owner pics, I think Firefly is wonderful and may well order one in the future, but am hampered by lack of ££ at the moment :(

    16. Her face was just too cute to let go!!! I need to learn some self control where dolls are concerned!!! It will be interesting to see what ready made outfits will fit....oddly enough...it is usually the underwear that is the hardest thing for me to find....so few of these dolls come with underpants!!!! Dresses...yes...underwear...no!!! Guess I am just a prude!

    20. Oh she is just marvelous! I adore her sweet face and her little chubby body. I collect Madame Alexander 8" dolls and have always loved their chub, so Firefly is a welcome change to many of the skinny child tinies i see (not that they aren't adorable too).

      I cannot wait to see owner pictures! I'm still a newbie so the whole regular resin vs. french resin has me for a bit of a loop, but I think she's just splendid :)
