Oh dear...if only I can afford the 60cm Narae! They are really awesome. I have liked the minis but was not so keen on the teeth. My wish-list just got longer by one (at least) ;_;

I received both Narin and Narae in July 2005 and have lots of pictures on an MSN BJD group: http://groups.msn.com/AsianBall-JointedDolls They are under pictures Yona/Jo or if you see the small picture on the right of the MSN main page...click on that and it will take you to my album. I love the dolls - they pose beautifully. I also love the open mouths..sometimes I get a more interesting look when photographing them with their teeth out - mouths open. I would love a larger Narae. Bimong is a most talented maker of dolls. They have become my favorite dolls...such beautiful faces. I too am anxious to see the full jointed bodies... Marti, When did you get your Narae? Your face is do different from my Narae? It looks as if she has a closed mouth too or is that just the picture? I know Bimong made changes in the doll sometime between the time I ordered - 3-05 and July 05 - which is why I had to wait so long for the doll. Is yours an MSD size? Perhaps that is the difference?? Just wondering..Jo
my girl is just as normal as she can be she has and open face and may look a little bit different because of the make-up and shots hugs
Hello Everyone, I heard today from the management at Narin Dolls this morning! yay! Here is part of what they told me regarding the default set and photo requests: "We could send some nude photoes of Narin & Narae and default cloths (pajamas) and wigs etc in this week." So I am hoping to get those soon. Pajamas? can't wait to see them. what a cute idea rather than the usual slip and panties. I hope to also get the answers to everyone's questions as well. Everything that was asked here in this thread, and private PM questions, were passed along. I have also arranged to get a translator to help me if things bog down. We're getting close! If you haven't yet-- please PM me and I will let you know immediately when ordering starts. And I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments on these dolls. Goodness! *slaps forehead* I only just saw this thread. ;__; Both of them are beautiful! I love their sculpts, and.. XD They remind me of 2 characters from this Korean drama called Full House.. o_O Narae for Kang Hae Won (Han Eun Jung) and Narin for Lee Young Jae (Rain)/Yoo Min Hyuk (Kim Sung Soo)~ X3 Can't wait to see more of them!
Marti really did a great job customizing her Narae. What do you think the style would be? A combination of pierrot/ Chinese/ Japanese? I have a collection of flapper dolls from the 1920's (also known as boudoir dolls, & they are also 60 cm size) and many of them were created in the art deco pierrot style. Catrina
