    1. Hey, you and me both! :D

      From what I've heard, you have to be a Korean citizen to get a cyworld account. You need some sort of resident code to register. Loving Korean barbecue doesn't count (darn!).

      I am not sure if this web site is just a sample to cover the new site which will be open soon. Also, no idea if it will have any English. I was told by the Narin president that they may have some sort of animation in the new site. In the meantime, you can see the popups over the "renewal" page, which show you the new Narin Gallery located in Seoul. This will house doll exhibits of ball joint doll artists from Korea, as well as (I think) some historical doll exhibits. I believe they will be selling the new dolls there starting November 5th.

    4. Hi Schnitzle, I have made plans to go to Seoul next year and visit Narin dolls. I will be bringing my video camera and taking lots of shots. Then I will edit and link lots of video to my new web site : - ) so you can see the sights from home! I have lots of ideas of things I'd like to video. And people, too. How about stalking Doogie from Luts *giggle*? Or going to SOOM and being cheek-deep in eyeballs?

      Though I have traveled to China and lived in the Orient, I am a little nervous about traveling in Korea a bit... because they seem to speak less English there, and like Japan, the street signs are mostly unreadable to me. Hopefully I could hire myself a nice interpreter... maybe a handsome hunky guy that looks like Narin? that could make the whole thing reeeeeeally pleasant : - )

    7. I guess we'll find out soon, but I'm wondering if it will be possible to order extra hands? I've noticed that the pics of the 60cm dolls show Narae with Narin style hands and Narin with Narae's...atleast I think that's what it is :lol: ...and I hope it would be the same for the small versions too. Narae's hands are very detailed and well scuplted, but they are almost as big as Lishe's!!! Plus the pose her hands are set in means they have a wide span, which can be a bit of a pain when it comes to sleeves *_* Narin's hands look more compact and would also allow for a different way to hold things.

Allright, allright *sniff* just so you know, I have big hands myself.... as a matter of fact, that's what my husband first noticed about me. *sniff* But he didn't call them shovels, he thought they were "long sexy fingers." But I will ask the company if hand swapping is possible. I am hoping I get some more pictures tomorrow. I have noticed that Korean dolls seem to have the most elegant hands. I can imagine how, if you had an outfit with tight sleeves, you might want to take the hands off and just rehook them once the arm was inside the sleeve... Jeez, that's what I always do when I get dressed :D
      Ordering to begin this week...Stand by for the starting gun to go off in Korea!

    10. I love my dolls to have big hands, I think it is not Narae that has large hands, but Lishe's are too small to be in proportion. I hope the Big Narins have decent size hands that match proportionally with their faces!!

      Good point Twigling, Lishe does have relatively small hands, so I guess it emphasises the size of Narae's.

      Don't get me wrong, I DO like her hands, they are such a good sculpt, but I also like to be able to change them for different effects.

      Steph, I never realised about the size of hands, until I took the pics and was setting Redd and Feenix up...then it was :o

      Default pics were expected last week... their own site is due to open I think by Nov 5, as well as sales via their new Narin Gallery store in Seoul. So it's going to be soon.
      I was hoping to get the default pictures earlier, but there has been a delay.

      Everyone's questions were translated into Korean and put into a letter which I sent last week. Once the default pics come, I will put them onto my new web site right away (which I'm dying to show you!) and I'll email everyone.

      I put your question in my Korean letter about the cyborgs and the cyborg face plates. We'll see what they say. I also snooped around and it appears that at some point, the cyborgs might be available in a very limited quantity. (Not during the 60 cm doll roll out though, sorry) I will keep my ear to the wall and snap up as many as I can, sight unseen, whenever that happens. I know there are quite a few who really want one.
