Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Strontium Dog: I think so.. just not ready yet. It takes a lot of work to re-engineer, and of course without sacrificing the perfect balance.

    3. Just one question - you said that the UV protection was added to few last shipments... I have Narae from order 51/52 - does she have this protection? I hope she does, the yellowing scares me a little ^^'

    7. Here are some more answers to questions...

      1. The new knee system will begin with the 43cm size Narin and Narae. I think the 60cm size will be next, but it's not ready yet. It's quite a lot of work to re-engineer them.

      2. The orders placed between now and December 31 will come with the new bodies. This is because the casting services are all jammed up now and orders will be submitted for casting after Christmas.

      3. Old bodies will still be for sale on the secondary market. Narin will not be continuing with the original knee joint system. Aside from the legs, the rest of the body, head, neck, everything.. will be the same as the first version. Only the legs will be different.

      The web site is now updated www.dollfair.com and you can see we have the new photos up, our free worldwide shipping offer is now open, and also we've got all the new photos up for custom facepainting with Narin Team.

    10. Catrina, the new face up versions are great. But please help a dummy. There are quiet a lot face plates I cannot recognize. They look so different depending on the make up. Could You please post a list on the Dollfair site from number 1 to 36 which face plate was used for each face up example? I assume I am not the only one who wants to know. :)

    12. Hi Catrina,

      my question is not really related to the latest news, but to the tanning colour in general: is it safe to sand a tanning Narae? By this I mean the seams especially. I know that seam sanding is offered upon purchase, but is it safe to do it on your own? Many tan dolls from other companies come with warnings about sanding causing uneven skin tone.

    13. I've had luck sanding tanned French resin. Use a very fine grit paper and test it inside the headcap before you do anything in a visible area. Make sure your paper is fine enough.

      I have not had much luck sanding urethane, because the ones I have tried yield lighter areas in the sanded spots. It seems as if the sanded areas reflects the light more and it's tricky.

      We'll also do our best to put up faceplate names under those photos. It's a bit hard though since the faces are painted and can take on different looks.. so if we are unsure, we'll write that next to it.

    15. Is the free shipping period for everything on Dollfair or just the new body dolls? For example if I wanted to buy just a head in thie period would I beable to get free shipping and when it comes to checking out do I just scroll to the blank option for shipping and check out?

    16. Free shipping just on the 43cm full doll order as a celebration for the new joint system. However, if you want order other stuff to go along with that doll, I could subtract your shipping fees on your extra items since they would travel with your doll.

    18. The holiday order includes 57 & 58, rather than #'s 59 - 61, which will arrive after Christmas. The posted deadline for holiday delivery was ordering by November 9th. It will be sent direct from Korea.

      The translation about the knee joint advised me these new knee joints would arrive after the new year. So my thought was to begin taking orders specifically for the new joint so that we'd have no confusion about what was going to arrive.

    20. There is a possibility since Narin and N-Doll use the same casting place.

      Everyone else offers a urethane option. I'm not sure if they'd want to go through months of the expense of trials and testing. That's a whole job in itself.:roll:
