New member here, hello! I was wondering if any of you folks know who makes this doll or where to get them, if its not some kind of custom creation? I've looked all over but not seen them anywhere, any help would be much appreciated!
I think that is a Pipos Curio? Places that sell Pipos (the little cat cuties) will often carry Curio.
And it's a Tiny - you can find one or more threads about them there. I think they may also wear the same clothes as Pipos Baha (the cat). And re fast - that one was easy since it's the only resin bunny head BJD. Carolyn
Thanks again. I tried doing a search for "bunny" first and got a lot of hits but none of them seemed relevant. Couldn't really tell the size from the pics so I took a guess.
I have the fullset Curo and I absolutely ADORE him. He's so sweet. (I just wish Pipos would calm down with their butt designs so he could sit on hard surfaces without having to prop himself up!) Get one for sure if you like bunnies!
Shirts, sure...but bottoms specifically made for Baha won't work. Baha has no tail...Curo does, and it's firmly molded on there, it's not jointed *grin* You'd have to cut a tail hole.
I want this little guy too! I found him on denverdoll.com and they offer lay away which may be the route I have to take. I would love to find the Alice dressed version but he is sold out There is a new autumn or fall dressed one now though.
He's been sold out for ages, Bellagigi. I was lucky enough to pounce on mine when he was put up in the Marketplace here a bit ago, as I'd wanted him since the day they put him up for sale but couldn't afford =/
chanth - Thank you! Robin is an expert in the archaic art of bunny-fu. ReineDeLaSeine14 - He's just very protective.^^
Ummm, so I have a question. I hope I didn't miss this earlier in the thread but I probably did, sorry. How are the ears attatched? Strung together? Anyone have pictures? Thanks much.
spamsama: The ears are strung, with a loop of elastic that goes through the ear, through the hole in the head, and around a 'knob' inside the head to keep it tight while still allowing movement. Mendokusai posted some pictures of the inside of a Curo head on her livejournal ^_^.
