I have some awesome news guys! I will finally get to see my kitty, Adeline, this week! I received her the day before I went back to University (end of August) and I shortly sent her out to be blushed and faceupped. I absolutely LOVE lilac point Siamese so I knew I had to get her pointed like a Siamese. I already have a lilac point Pipos Heero as well I received pictures today from her customizer, Kayke, and I am soooooo excited to see her in person! She is BEAUTIFUL!!! I hope you guys like her and expect to see much spammage when I get her home and I have a chance to take her out for a photoshoot BEWARE NUDITY!!!
the siamese turned out very nice! i have a bit of news, there was a mixup with my payments (i think i finished the layaway on the wrong day so they didn't notice it was completed) but my grey basic Charlotte is shipping today or tomorrow!!
ooh mine (Rita) is basic too and i posted her in another thread but forgot to post here. i love her but have been having bad timing with photos and haven't made any great ones yet. with her first outfit that fits her personality (it took a while for me to figure out) dress is by dollsahoy on flickr/etsy pipos charlotte basic grey by natalia & gabriel, on Flickr with her new eyes (pearlized green plushie eyes from an etsy seller) she needed green eyes by natalia & gabriel, on Flickr PS: i like the paw hands, they are so cute. but i love the human hands that came with her. they are so graceful and expressive. i never thought i would do that with a cat doll, given the option, but i may keep her with the human hands. plus, don't you think cats would love to have thumbs?!

Sorry if this worries you, but they're terrible! The holes are incredibly thin and most of the body is actually a mass of resin instead of having bigger holes through it. I tried all ways to restring mine and in the end I ordered a restringing tool for tinies because it simply doesn't work with ribbons/wires and the like... but if you have one of those I'm sure it'll be easy Good luck guys! >.<
why would you want to re-string them? they pose so amazing right out of the box. oh, i guess for some kinds of customizing you would take them apart, right?
mine came with incredibly tight stringing and I couldn't really pose her >.< plus I was afraid she'd get damaged.
I'm wondering how they compare to restringing a Baha, Bao, or Cheshire. I've restrung my Cheshire with no problems, but I know Charlotte is slimmer. c_c
you're not supposed to re-string a doll if it's too tight, i don't think. i think you're supposed to just stretch it out a little and then play with it until it gets normalized. please correct me if i'm wrong...
Unrelated, but it seems that basic Charlotte is now listed as sold out on the Pipos site. o_O I wonder if they are thinking of a re-design already?
I thought Basic Charlotte was an open ed. I wonder what happened... Christmas rush maybe? I hope it's not a re-design pull... Now I'm wishing that I had ordered her last week, but at that time I was conflicted about ordering an anthro with human feet... If only Pipos would release some hind paw ('foot') parts for these cats...
