pretty sure they are around yo-SD or slim tiny size.... wow i can't decide either. i have 2 great catdolls already so i kinda wanted an orange one... but that could be the boy i get later, assuming they issue it. my IRL elegant grey cat is named after a brazilian singer so she really should be represented by a catdoll with a woman-anthro body... maybe i will have to get the grey basic girl.
Oh my... I've been hankering after a Pipos Robin since I joined the hobby, and now I'm smitten by these cats! (And I told myself that I'd never be interested in kitties!) Loving both Charlotte and Demon... hmm, thinking now of snagging both a gray cat and Robin together before the Junior Pi go off sale. *meep* I'm sure this has been asked before but how tall is PO-11? Is it YoSD sized? Thanks!
Jr Pi is not on sale. They are going off sale meaning Pipos is planning to stop selling them on June 15th until further notice. Don't know if they will be released or perhaps a newer version of each Jr Pi will be released. So if you're looking to get one then this is the time.
"see you soon" sounds pretty encouraging. I'm always so anxious, they get me with LE and ordering periods so easily..
They get me with the layaway option, haha. As long as i don't have to pay full upfront, i can spare enough to order and pay monthly. I just love Pipos
The little banner on the side of the page underneath the menu that has an orange Cheshire at the top, that says ,"PI Basic Coming Soon -June-" does that mean that they will be releasing a basic Cheshire (the original Cheshire) or am I interpreting that wrong?
I think they only took their old pictures to show that they are all going to go into sale soon... I do not know about the Cheshire since they already have one for sale.... I cannot wait to see if they really put them all for sale > A< I want a Baha so bad!! I liek the new cats... but they are not "cat" enough.... too mature maybe ?
I personally think the faces of the new cats look way more authentically cat than baha. Baha (and the rest of the small cats) looks more doggish to me and never appealed to me for that reason, but these new guys look just like my two black cats in terms of face structure
That is what I think also! But I would have liked them more if they had the same body as the others... Baha is the less catish of all the cats, but I still like him more then the other ones... maybe its a psychological thing XD It would have been great if they had been bigger though... (the new ones)
Baha is awesome, guys. BD /biased But omgggg I'm already saving my pennies for a Charlotte. I don't think I'll buy one of these basics (if I did, I'd go with the gray and have her face-up enhanced to include eye markings similar to the limited face-up), because I'd rather wait and see if they'll release beige kitties with orange tabby make-up. (That would be so awesome, wouldn't it? >w<)
The original Cheshire is still available for sale as a basic? What I am wondering though is that since the new R.Pi line also have magnetic tails, would they considering perhaps implementing that to all of their dolls? Because that would be lovely. Oh and the basic Charlotte and Demon are Especially the white ones... oooh, so pretty.
Yay just ordered my Charlotte... and paid for it so now the waiting game starts. I got her in grey skin with a tail and beast hands I'm a sucker for claws lately.
Goodness, seeing the basic versions makes me excited over these dolls, but I just don't connect with cats! When you combine allergies and lots of dog love in my family, cats never got the chance. Despite that, I'm still incredibly excited that Pipos made these guys. They are beautiful, mature, and expressive, and still compact. I think I'm in love with R.Pi! I really look forward to other dolls in this line based on other animals. I'll probably be screwed if or when Bao and Curo/Dali or even Ruth get the same treatment!
@ Ellanie, i bet if you bought one to put a dog head on it, someone would want to buy the cat head from you. i know i potentially would. (or does no BJD company sell just dog heads?) don't mind me, i'm always thinking of hybrids...
