How limited is he exactly? For something that I'm guessing is limited to like..200 or something, I swear I've seen about fifty on Ebay JP. I saw 12 up at one time at least. Now I'm just waiting for him to come home, I didn't even notice the seller wouldn't be shipping untill she got back from her vacation on April 8th -cringe-
there's no way to know exactly how many were made, there was a finite number made for the Tenshi No Sato event,... however once they sold out, anyone who was at the event could order a preorder of the doll. (but only at that event.) Those preorder dolls will be coming out in 2 to 3 months. (and that was as many as was ordered.)
Because I have a friend interestedin buying, and I think she's wondering if the price of Sakaki will drop once the pre-orders are released?
there's no way to know... because: (a) you dont know how many people are buying him now... and how many will later decide when the rest of them come out "eeek! I should have bought him and NOW is my last chance" (b) you dont know how many will come out. I mean, conceivably there may be like 10. Could be 200. could be 10. It's only as many as went to that 3 day event at Tenshi No Sato and WERE not able to get one of the Sakaki. ... so actually it's probably more like, ONLY owners from the last day of the event (when he was sold out) who bought him on preorder. unfortunately... like with any doll it's really hard to know how the prices will change or not change on auction.
Hm. Well, there's still a few floating around ebayJP! I bought mine from a scalper not too long after the event, worried that I would never see him again and he would go WAAY up if I didn't buy him now. Still glad I did.
