Thing is, Sharmin does photograph well if and only if a lot of thought and care is given towards the photo shoot; in other words, she photographs well, but it's difficult. As dechanique has said, she has a lot of potential, which many people do not see until special releases are usually posted onto eBay.
I saw her yesterday, she is astouning! I usually don't like sharmin but she is very special and pretty! Wow!
Not sure if everyone knows this yet or not but the Nightmare Sharmin on ebay is for a preorder of her, if I'm reading it right. http://www.dollmoreusa.com/ is also taking pre-orders on her so you don't have to stalk ebay if you want her.
Thanks for that info, radiotrash! Hmm ... they sort of really don't make that whole "preorder" part abundantly clear in the auctions, do they? I'm kind of glad now I decided to let the one I was bidding go to another bidder, as I've been burnt before on a doll purchase by the fact that eBay will only support Square Trade and refund negotiation for a certain time period. I guess, all things considered, I'm glad I decided to stick to my guns and wait for Arashi. Lia
I took my girl to a doll meet and it's very true, Sharmin photographs well if and only if you take the time to find her 'best side'. I have had very good luck photographing my girl, but I've also redone her default faceup twice now. Posing is a little difficult, as the doll is strung very tightly... mine is still resettlin the strings after I gave her some new elastic. But she is quite lovely and I can't keep myself from staring at her all the time.. I've also seen that light eyes look better on her than darker ones.
mmmm wud have to agree my daughter has a Sharmin , Naomi and she loves her and tho she can have ickle probs posing, she is lovely to photograph....
I'm a huge fan of white Sharmin and I was thinking of getting her, but now that I've seen Nightmare Sharmin, I am completely torn! *ARG*
