I'm STILL laughing my head off at the "Amazing Spinning Boybits". Those don't seem to bug me too much. At least, not as much as those nipples. Ick. Sorry, but going with consensus here -- those just seem weird.

The extra joints, especially on the hip and elbows certainly look nice. He'd definately be very poseable! I think the body in the photos has been a bit too blushed, resulting in that gangly look. Perhaps with a little less bodyblushing his head sculpt would match the body a bit better.

I really do like the 'type A' faceup. Don't know if he'll ever go on my 'possible watch/wish list'... but this certainly has been one enertaining thread.

 

At first glance he looks really handsome, but yeah I fell off my chair when I kept reading.

I, personally, don't need to have dolls with soft nipples or sexual parts that move or anything. Eww. My eyes burn.

Triple joints are cool, the neck motion is gr8 but sex organs is a no no for me, he's a doll. But he has a cute face... still this is no where near my list of dolls i want

If you don't want him to sit and spin, you could always deprive him if his winky. The ability to make your 'boy toy' genderless, shouldn't be a feature overlooked! He's not just awesome for Yaoi. The angel nuts are probably dreamig up posibilities for minial modded punk angels (easily pierced nipples).

I have to agree that the soft 'touchable' nipples are just odd.. and kind of freaky.

I love the triple-jointed limbs, he looks fairly well proportioned, and the neck-joint is an interesting innovation, although the head-mold looks rather odd on that body.
He'd be better off with a more 'adult' looking headsculpt, especially with his 'full operation'.
The body blushing is way over-done. He looks cold >.>' and the 'papilla' just accentuate that look.

Wow, that's a good point. It changes my mind a bit since the dancing boybits were the major turnoff for me. The nipples wouldn't bother me much(since I wouldn't touch him like that )

Wow. Why is everyone giggling and going silly over a movable penis? This isn't the first doll to have it. I believe it's already been brought up twice that Gentaro Araki's boy dolls have a erect penis part- but that has been skipped over repeatedly. I'm starting to think deliberately, because people want to have a reason to go "OMG BOYBITS! <Insert here something about being gross, or silly>!".

It's not that it can be erect. It's that you can spin it around in circles. Like, as someone mentioned above, one of those spinning bow-ties. The fact that you could sit there and spin it in circles is where it gets silly.

Well, I guess Lai won't be getting a new body, even thought it's possible to get one designed for Ryoma head. The body sure is nice, but It looks a bit too thin and all those "rotating" parts just scare me. I'm also not very fond to that second face-up option that Notdolllab offers. It just don't show how gorgeus mold Ryoma is. But, I'm biased...

 

Acutally I don't find the rotating doo-dah any stranger than the fact that the dolls have one to begin with. In fact it made me remember one night way back in college (after too much beer) where guys started revealing if they hung to the right or the left - gaak - that was too much information!! I think it was preceeded by the whole "boxers or briefs" discussion. Maybe we're supposed to customize just where we want that "bulge in the pants?"

That said, in combination with the "feel good nipples", it seems like the whole doll might be aimed at the "controversial doll" market.

i would love to have the perfect body to match his size and skin color, but if i were to get it, i dont know if i would be able to not feel dirty changing his clothes and what not(knowing those parts... *ahem*move... >_>)
