im scared but fascinated about this doll haha..

im not sure i want a doll with squishy nipples..but it IS a conversation piece?? hahaha

I'm on the fence about ordering him too. I want to see some real pics first.

 

Call me the odd-one-out. But I think the nipples scare me more than the rotating 'ahem'... It's probably the blushing...but also..they kind of look like pimples O_o

 

If anybody is curious enough, we are selling Royma at Dolls and Friends. I don't think I want to sell him with body blushing, though, unless somebody asks for it. I'll have to wait to see owners photos of him.

We can sell the Full Operation body, too. I'm curious to know if the resin matches other companies' because I know that I will be asked.

I could have So much fun with this body XD especially with the "bits" i actually found this body while i was at school and there were a few guys around that think my doll obsession is weird enough when they saw this body they were "WTF!?!O.O" they havent looked at my screen since but they do give me strange looks. I think i have scarred them for life XD

Does anyone think that a Lie head could fit this new body? Thats what I really would like to know!

 

I think Lie-head would be far too small for this body, as it's head is SD-sized and wears 8-9 wigs and Lie's head is more like MSD-sized. It would look very odd.


I'm playing grammar-nazi, but wouldn't the name be Ryoma instead of Royma?
After doing some research, it's Royma on Nobility's own site, but when I bought my Lai, I bought him as Ryoma, not Royma. Geez, this is confusing.

it says 'Royma' on my certificate of authenticity. i never noticed that... i've been calling him 'Ryoma' this whole time. it still says 'Ryoma' on dollmore(where i got mine), i guess it changed along with him getting a body :/

P.S. i orderd an "emotional" body for my boy. it should arrive by the end of the month ;D

I feel a bit sorry for Royma. Now he's going to be known as 'the doll with the spinning part'.

He looks heavily blushed and like others said, the blushing doesn't really go with his head, but overall I don't have too many problems with the sculpt.

 

OMG, ki75un3! Can't wait to see your Ryoma. We'll need a meetup in his honor. The dolls can all play spin the bottle.

The moving neck scares me a bit...I'd like to see him without all of the blushing...

 

I like his joints for their mobility but like some people here, my feelings are mixed between humor and disgust. XD;

And I also agree that there's too much blush on the body. He looks almost sickly. XD;; I think the body would look better on a more mature/older/realistic looking doll ^^;

review:
He's a little bigger than i thought. The SD13 size clothes i bought for him come up a little short(long pants/sleeves) but otherwise he fits them just fine. Theres a slight difference in color between the head and body. I ordered my head from Dollmore, and the body from Luts, so that might explain it, but i'm sure if you buy the set, there wont be that kind of problem one kind of odd thing, is that his torso kept popping out of his hips when i put his pants on. i guess it could be fixed by restringing him...
And i know some of you are curious... its jointed. its attached to the hip piece by a really small elasic(almost thread), so it kind of moves around like a joy-stick >////> anyway, the nipples are just like, i guess ball points. they just go in and out, theyre not squishy...
